The Main House, at Mountain Breeze Cabins was designed and hand crafted by your host as his retirement home. From your entry into the Kitchen/living area you see that the house is full of pine paneling, oak floors, a stone hearth, granite countertops and tile. This design is carried throughout the entire cabin and is enhanced with a unique art collection.
The Cabin is Pet Friendly, It’s location and placement on the 15 acres at 3200 ft elevation was chosen for the long range view, peace of its’ surroundings, and the quiet that comes with the remoteness.
The single upstairs bedroom encompasses the entire floor and includes a dedicated office space and the master bath, which has a cast iron tub and tiled shower. As you enter the upstairs bedroom there is a 180 degree view of the mountain environment through a wall of windows.
There is a Hot Tub and propane fire pit on the main, open deck with a view, along with an outside dining table and lounge chairs under the covered portion of the wrap around deck.
While our guests enjoy the seclusion and peace of the cabin there are plenty of activities off the property. It is only a short distance to hiking trails, Lake Lure Beach and Marina, Historic Lake Lure Inn, Chimney Rock State Park, restaurants, Lake Lure Tour Boats, local breweries and wineries, horseback riding, tennis courts, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, Chimney Rock Village and fly fishing on the Rocky Broad River! There are also two championship golf courses and a municipal nine-hole golf course in the Lake Lure area.
Asheville is 25 miles, Black Mountain 17 miles, Hendersonville 15 miles and the Tryon International Equestrian Resort 25 miles. The Blue Ridge Parkway and all that it has to offer is also within 25 miles.
Mountain Breeze Cabins consist of 4 rental cabins and a caretakers cottage on the 15 acre site. All positioned for privacy and the enjoyment of the environment of the mountain top community. The cabins are available for group functions.

Just perfect. The cabin was incredibly clean, well decorated and cozy. Modern upgrades mixed with the rustic charm of a proper cabin. The view from the wrap around porch and hot tub was fabulous. The nights were chilly which was a great excuse to use and sit by the wood stove.
You are out in the middle of nowhere which makes it more special- we loved driving back up the mountain’s winding, lush roads to get back after each adventure out. (Easy hike with AMAZING views just 10 minutes away Eagle Rock and Tunnel Rock).
Ryan and Tammy (the care takers) were fantastic- responsive, helpful, friendly and just great people. We would 100% recommend this spot to anyone and would stay here again.

Check in and out was just as described, easy. We didn’t see anyone until our last day of the trip and it was the property manager, who was very nice. The Main Cabin is beautiful. There’s stunning custom wood work and furniture throughout the cabin. It was also very clean. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, including spices. The hot tub was relaxing and clean. Overall, worth the money and we’ll be back.

Tony, and his care takers were very nice, and right on top of it if you needed anything, the place was great, with a great view and very relaxing, it’s exactly as described

Tony’s quiet little cabin nestled high above the twinkling lights below is a cozy, serene, retreat and the ideal place to go within and unplug from “the matrix”. Perfect for packing provisions and executing some serious culinary masterpieces… art supplies, journals & books too!

Secluded yet close to neighbors! This is a small mountain top community of personal homes and second homes. The on-site caretakers/property managers live in a central cabin 100 yards from the house. There are other cabins on the property and in the vicinity so you can have seclusion and comfort knowing that in an emergency there are others people about. Houses are all adequately spaced out so you feel the solitude and privacy you need.
The house is at an elevation of 3,200 ft. Be ready for curvy, sometimes steep but well-maintained roads. No public transport is near. Though there is an uber driver who services surrounding areas.
Once you leave the main highway you will be traveling a narrow, curvy, mostly paved road to the top of the mountain. GPS may not be completely accurate but directions are provided in your check-in instructions to help navigate.
Our WiFi is supplied by US Cellular and is a cell tower based system. It has, over the years, proven to be adequate for communicating, streaming and working from the cabin. It will be slower than cable, fiber optic or what you are use to at home. TV is from a digital antenna that provides local channels.
You are welcome to sign into your streaming services on the Smart TV, please remember to sign out on departure.
