"We had a great stay in this beautiful barn conversion. The location is gorgeous and super convenient to the M4. House is tastefully decorated with great spaces, wonderful light & a big garden/patio as well. We were glad to find a place that had plenty of room and appropriate beds for 8 adults. "Comfortable cottage for a group of three couples, with plenty of space. Three good sized bedrooms with ensuites, though one only has a hand held shower. The kitchen was well equipped, including a good steamer pan, and there was plenty of crockery and glasses, and a good sized dining table. The local pub, the Swan, is only a short walk away and serves good food. Room to park three cars either in the cottage grounds or the church carpark next door. Host was easy to contact and very helpful."

"The cottage was gorgeous. It was small, personal and comfy. Everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We explored Lechlade, went to several pubs and ate out, as well as cooked in the cottage. I did lots of sketching, and went fishing with my boys. It was a great short break. Julia's property was perfect."

Some comments though A) Need additional signpost in the lane to get to the property B) the hottub was difficult to operate to get the correct temperature at the time we wanted to use it. An initial set up of the correct amount of wood in the stove would help as would more guidance of how long to leave and how much wood needed before water is at a comfortable temperature C) a couple of the showers were too hot to wash hair in , thermostat couldn't cool...

"Our stay here was absolutely amazing. Communication with Jessica was fantastic and she is such a joy! The house is absolutely everything you would want from a Cotswold Cottage. "We had a lovely stay with friends and went to Newbury Races which was a couple of stops on the train which is a 5/10 minute walk from the cottage The cottage was very nice 2bedrooms the smaller on is a bit small but fine for a few nights The kitchen is well equipped in fact the only down side was the shower which was very low pressure and the temperature kept changing so you had to jump in and out otherwise it was wonderful and we would use it again if staying in the area "

"Hooks Farm Cottages are located on a working diary farm. The accommodation is excellent with plenty of amenities. The owners are very friendly and there is plenty to see within a short drive. Though the M4 is within viewing distance from the front of the property there is no road noise at all. Excellent. "
