House is tastefully decorated with great spaces, wonderful light & a big garden/patio as well. We were glad to find a place that had plenty of room and appropriate beds for 8 adults. "Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, spacious, rustic yet modern, warm and cosy. Well equipped. Quiet location next to a farm. We loved staying here and will definitely stay again. Rural, but close to Swindon, Royal Wootton Bassett and M4. Owners helpful and on-hand for any queries. We were left some milk and eggs which was nice. "

"12 of us stayed at this beautiful house for 3 nights to see in the new year together, we had the most wonderful time. The house was perfect for all ages, there was something for everyone. We particularly liked that we could sit together in the living area and eat meals together as there was a dining table big enough for all of us. The games room and pool were perfect additions. Everyone enjoyed themselves which is a hard task when catering for all ages. We will be back, thank you"

"Myself and a friend stayed for a couple weeks over Christmas and New Years. Having never been to the Cotswolds before, this was in a great location! It was an easy walk to the high street and many great shops to easily get groceries. We highly recommend the nearby Lynwood & Co for breakfast and coffee. From Lechlade we were an easy drive to all the major Cotswold towns - Stowe on the Wold, Burton on the Water, Burford and many more. Oxford and Blenheim Palace were also close by. Julia and...

"A fantastic short break with great walks, shopping in Marlborough and relaxing in a lovely cottage which was comfy clean and really well equipped with everything you could want. Some thoughtful touches included goodies for us and treats for my dog! Will definitely be returning. "

"Lovely, cosy cottage. One bedroom and the spacious bathroom is on the ground floor so avoiding a steep narrow staircase leading to the remaining bedrooms.Very peaceful surroundings and beds and bedding of excellent quality so we all slept soundly"

Some comments though A) Need additional signpost in the lane to get to the property B) the hottub was difficult to operate to get the correct temperature at the time we wanted to use it. An initial set up of the correct amount of wood in the stove would help as would more guidance of how long to leave and how much wood needed before water is at a comfortable temperature C) a couple of the showers were too hot to wash hair in , thermostat couldn't cool...

"We had a lovely stay with friends and went to Newbury Races which was a couple of stops on the train which is a 5/10 minute walk from the cottage The cottage was very nice 2bedrooms the smaller on is a bit small but fine for a few nights The kitchen is well equipped in fact the only down side was the shower which was very low pressure and the temperature kept changing so you had to jump in and out otherwise it was wonderful and we would use it again if staying in the area "

"Hooks Farm Cottages are located on a working diary farm. The accommodation is excellent with plenty of amenities. The owners are very friendly and there is plenty to see within a short drive. Though the M4 is within viewing distance from the front of the property there is no road noise at all. Excellent. "

"Great position in Newbury, very close to the main shopping street. Parking nearby was cheaper than onsite so we used that. Entry was easy with good instructions. It was very warm inside, we had to open the windows and turn off the heating. Nice and quiet in the building, we hardly saw or heard anyone else. Everything you needed for a short break was supplied. "
