"The property was lovely - clean and spacious. Very nicely maintained with some fun wall decor throughout the house. Access was a little challenging up a spiral staircase although this was clearly stated at booking. Due to this, not advisable for elderly/frail people."

"The house has been decorated to a very high standard, but the reason for my booking was the use of the pool. The property is sold as a pool holiday (rare in the UK), but the pool was not usable in a safe manner, with loose tiling and sharp edges. You advised me that there were 'a few loose tiles', but only after payment had been made. The tiling around the pool is a trip hazard in several places and the mosaic tiling in the pool itself clearly has not been maintained for years, with hundreds of...

"A lovely spacious place located in the heart of Tavistock. Rooms were great and the living area really spacious. There’s no parking but we made it work with our 3 cars using local roads and short/long stay car parks. The wood fire was out of action but the place was warm and cosy with the heating on."

"Our group of 12 loved our weekend here - so much space and the facilities inc swimming pool, hot tub and cinema room were well used. When we did experience a couple of issues, the property team were very friendly and quick to help. Would definitely stay here again! Also recommend the Finnygook Inn - a short walk up the hill – the meals were top notch!"

It was a brilliant stay and we wished we had booked it for longer (we’ve stayed for a week).
