Large celebration Town House in Chichester City Centre. Great for groups/families!

Located in the heart of Chichester, our beautiful Georgian house is just a few minutes walk from the main high street with an abundance of shops, restaurants, bars & cafes, as well as a bus/train station. Sleeping 16-18, the high ceilings & spacious bedrooms, reception rooms & dining room makes this an ideal house for groups or families. Off street parking is available for 4 cars. Nearby is Chichester Cathedral, Museums & plenty of parks. A short drive are beautiful beaches & the countryside.

Centrally located, in a quiet residential area of Chichester, the house makes an ideal base and sleeping 16-18, it lends itself to large celebrations - Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christmas, Weddings, Hen do's, reunions and even golfing weekends! We have hosted many occasions and are very happy to assist your group to make your stay memorable. If you are looking at hosting a business meeting or networking event then the space is ideal, as well as weekend retreats.

Beds are made up as listed below but can be changed for the convenience of your group if we are notified in advance of your stay.

Ground Floor:-
There is a large entrance and hallway with a dining room to the right hand side. Inside is a large dining table and chairs. A music room and downstairs TV room is off to the left.
There is a large, well equipped kitchen with electric oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The middle island in the kitchen can also be used as a breakfast bar with stools.
There is a downstairs w.c along with a utility room including washing machine and second fridge.
The back door leads directly to the garden (down a few steps).

First Floor:-
There is a large, second sitting room with T.V and DVD Player overlooking the garden.
Study with desk and chair, pool table and wifi access.

Outside:-
There is a patio area with table and chairs and BBQ leading to grassed area. Please note the entrance to the garden is not gated and therefore children will need supervision.
A pathway is at the side of the garden which leads to the parking area at the rear of the garden. Residents will use the path to get to and from the building but the garden is for sole use of guests staying at East Pallant House.

A welcome pack is left out for our guests upon arrival which consists of -
Tea, coffee, sugar, tea towels, cloths, hand wash, cooking spray, dishwasher tablets, rinse aid, matches, sun cream, tissues, hand sanitiser, bin bags, scrubbing brush, salt, pepper, fire lighters, pen and tinfoil as well as a some goodies including chocolates and sweets!

We also include shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and hand wash at each sink.

We can provide a travel cot (please provide your own linen) and high chair along with baby packs 0-2 years and toddler packs 2-4 years. Items are subject to availability and requested in advance for shot stays only. All items are to be left in the property at the end of your stay. They will be cleaned and sterilised between each use.

There is parking for 4 cars. For further parking options, there are 4 public carparks nearby all within a 4 min walk of the property. They are all outdoor, without height restrictions. Long stay carparks which are slightly cheaper are located slightly further afield.

Local Area

The house is situated in a very quiet residential quarter of Chichester.

Ideally located only a few minutes walk from the city centre, it offers easy access to the many shops, bars, restaurants and cafes that Chichester has to offer. The Cathedral city includes the acclaimed Chichester Festival Theatre, modern art, and lots of history.

Chichester train station offers connections to London Victoria in just 90 minutes, and once you arrive, there are plenty of places to explore on local bus routes.

The location of the townhouse offers incredibly convenient access to the South Downs countryside, events at Goodwood and to the stunning South Coast – Pagham Beach is just a 25 minute drive away and the renowned dunes of West Wittering a 35 minute drive.

The Goodwood Estate is just 10 minutes drive, which offers a myriad of events throughout the season including motor-racing (Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival & Members Meetings) and horse-racing. There are buses and many taxi companies operating in the area, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any help in organising this.

If you fancy a round of golf the Chichester Golf Club is a 12 minute drive away and offers indoor and outdoor adventure golf as well as their tower and cathedral courses for the keen golfer!

Chichester boasts many beautiful parks, some of which with play equipment for children. Oaklands Park, Priory Park and Bishops Palace Gardens are all a short walk away and offer stunning views of this historic city.

The city walls walk which encircle the Chichester and the cathedral are great if you like to soak up the history of the city.

Chichester canal is a 10 minute walk away and from here you can either walk, bike or take a boat trip through to Chichester Marina.

Pallant Gallery is also a lovely place to visit and is located only a few feet away from the house!

Chichester's City Gate is an area near the train station which has restaurants, a cinema, trampolining and also bowling.

Perfect location
I recently stayed in this property with a group of old friends and we had an amazing weekend. The house was beautiful and the bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of bathrooms for everybody. The location was perfect, just a short walk to restaurants and shops etc and yet at night time it was very quiet. I would definitely rebook! Thank you x

Perfect for groups
We had a lovely stay with everything we needed. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, and detergent provided. Lots of lots & pans for cooking. Most bedrooms were huge! Enough bathrooms for 12 of us. All bedrooms upstairs. 4 parking spaces. In the middle of town, walkable to restaurants, pubs and shopping. First time in Chichester. Such a cute town. The only issue we had is we ran out of hot water even with short showers. At times a bit chilly but not bad with space heaters. Would return again and highly recommended.

Fantastic house and location
As 4 different families coming together, space was important to us! The bedrooms were huge, comfortable and clean; the living rooms (3 of them) were great, and we could have the kids in one with the adults in another; the kitchen was very well equipped. The dining room was enormous, and we all sat round the table very very comfortably. The location was incredible - right in the heart of Chichester, which we also loved. The communication with the property manager was excellent and she was very responsive to all messages. Highly recommend this property.

What a house!
A fantastic and sprawling home in an amazing location! Great facilities and comfy beds! We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend the house and if you have time, Tinwood vineyard tour! All in all a fun weekend away.

Lovely large property, plenty of room, great for us as a group (13) and we were able to have outside caterers for my wife’s 50th. The garden and patio area was great in the evening. Laura as on top of anything we needed and could not have been more helpful. One small issue was that the kitchen whilst well equipped was a little bit tired and small for the number of people and there were a few issues with the appliances.

Beautiful, huge house, great for family and friends to get together
This is a gorgeous house, slap-bang in the middle of Chichester and very close to shops, including an M&S Food shop. Having three living rooms made it easy for a large, complex family group to be comfortable together for an extended period, with a dining and living room big enough for all. The kitchen is well-appointed, with two ovens, a microwave, a large fridge and a butler's pantry/sink. A pool table and grand piano (in tune) were a wonderful bonus. Recommended.

Family Celebration
This is a fabulous house for a large family get together. Our two year old grandson walked in and said ‘wow’ which echoed what we were all thinking! Spacious, well equipped, very comfortable beds and very clean. We had a great weekend. Laura Young was easy to communicate with and replied very promptly to emails before our trip. I recommend this property wholeheartedly!

Very comfortable, close to high street
My stay with 14 close friends and a horde of children was very comfortable and nice. The place is ideally located very close to the high street of Chichester, more or less ideal. The home includes an (oldish) charcoal BBQ, which was great for one night, and we had catering come in for another night - very easy. The downstairs was large enough for all of us. The few downsides included the garden not being exclusive or walled off, which means you have to watch your kids closely if they are out the back. Also, the only way to enter is from the back with a code, which is a minor inconvenience if no one is home. A big positive was Laura, the host, who responded to emails faster than you would think possible, and was always accurate and helpful. So the management is excellent. Overall, I would recommend this to families or groups of friends who want to visit the wonderful city of Chichester, close to a dozen interesting things to see and do.

Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage; sehr geräumige Zimmer - ideal für Familienurlaub
Reparatur Arbeiten notwendig, z.B. Türe in einem Schlafzimmer schließt nicht; teilweise dringende Erneuerung von Fugen in Duschen. BBQ total durchgerostet. Teilweise sehr schlechte Matratzen. Dringende Komplettreinigung der Waschmaschine - wir haben versucht zu reinigen und zu desinfizieren - muss jedoch noch genauer gemacht werden. Auf Grund dieser Mängel, finde ich, dass Preis überhöht ist. Wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt - danke:) Definitiv empfehlenswert.
