Pet Fee - One pet is allowed with an additional $150 payment. Please let me know at the time of booking that you will be bringing a furry friend! Any unauthorized pets will result in in a $500 penalty.


Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are difficult to accommodate. If you need additional time, please consider booking an extra day.


Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only. Local groups looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled.


Anyguest booking this property must be staying at the property for the full duration of the reservation and is responsible for the actions of all people in the group. Bookings made on behalf of others are allowed for some unique circumstances so please inquire if you are planning to book for someone else but do not intend to stay yourself.


Parking in the city can be tricky and is not guaranteed. There may be some street parking available nearby, but please be sure to read all posted signs before parking anywhere on the street to avoid being ticketed or towed. To guarantee a spot, you can use a parking app like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book parking spots ahead of time around the city.


Very simply, please respect my home and my neighbors. Please read these rules carefully and take them seriously, failure to comply will result in forfeiture of your deposit and/or termination of your reservation without a refund.


1.) No parties or additional overnight guests without prior approval. Noise disturbances reported by neighbors or police are unacceptable.

2.) Additional visitors are not permitted at my property.  Only registered guests may access the property for the entire duration of your stay.

3.) Please ensure you have left the premises and returned any keys issued to the designated location by the agreed upon check-out time. Failure to do so will result in a $250 late check-out penalty.

4.) Absolutely no smoking (of anything) inside the unit or on building premises. Additionally, local law prohibits smoking within 15 feet of any entrance. If there is evidence of smoking, including odor, there will be a $1,000 smoke remediation charge. “Smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, breathing, carrying, or possessing any lighted or electronic cigar, cigarette, pipe, vaporizer, joint, or other tobacco or marijuana product in any manner or in any form. No marijuana, medical or otherwise, may be used, grown, stored or consumed on the premises.

5.) Please be respectful of my neighbors and be mindful of noise and loud music. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM-8:00 AM daily.

6.) Pets are not allowed at the property unless previously approved and pet fee paid. You will be charged $500 if you bring an unauthorized animal.

7.) Lockouts will result in a $150 fee per occurrence. Additionally, lost keys will incur a $50 per key fee.

8.) I acknowledge that as the primary guest on the reservation that I am staying at the property for the entire duration of the stay and responsible for the actions of all guests.  If you are NOT staying at the property and booking on behalf of others, please contact us as limited exceptions are permitted to this rule.

10.) Lost and Found:  We are not responsible for any personal items left behind. If you let us know what personal items you are missing we will make an attempt to locate those in our lost and found and have them shipped to you at your own expense. Please be sure to check the home (including all drawers and closets) before you depart to ensure you have all of your personal belongings.

* To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of your stay, provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. This information is collected for verification purposes only and is not stored or otherwise used for any other purpose.

* We do additional verifications using AutoHost after you book and we reserve the right to reject bookings that fail our tests. Additionally, you must have a good track record on Airbnb as a guest.

As advertised and more
Traveled to Chicago for work and my wife, child and dog went along. This place gives you the neighborhood feel of living in one of those older Chicago walk-ups. Check-in and communication were both easy, and the place matched the photos very well. It was clean and, surprisingly, quiet. We never heard the neighbor downstairs though I did apologize for any noise we may have made. Anyone we ran into were very friendly. Lots of little grassy lawns for walking my pet, and the location was excellent for my wife and child to explore parks or the zoo when I was at work (which was very easy to get to with all the public transit options close by). We had a great time and would certainly consider staying again.

Came into town to check out a couple Cubs games, this place was perfect for it, located in a very nice safe neighborhood about a mile from Wrigley. Check in was easy and it was clean, with bathroom supplies and coffee.

Great apartment in a fantastic neighbourhood
We were in Chicago to attend a couple baseball games at Wrigley Field. EXCELLENT location, field is within walking distance, neighbourhood is safe and has lots to see. Property was exactly as shown in photos and was perfect for our stay.

Great place in a fun neighborhood
I stayed here with my daughter (22) to explore neighborhood and do some apartment hunting for her first place. In summer especially baseball season, I would expect it to be more lively but in March it was pretty calm and safe. Walking distance to boutique shopping, restaurants, bars, groceries and transit. Cute space, kitchen well equipped and comfortable beds. Just watch your head on the sloped roof especially the one by the fridge.

Overall good. Quiet and clean. Only two things - the outside stairs would benefit from treads as they were slippery in the morning with frost. The only other which would be hard to fix is that it took a long time to get hot water for the shower and the kitchen sink.
