"We left the Amari shaking our heads... On one hand, it probably is the nicest hotel in Vientiane, staff always smile and greet you, and the value for money was great. On the other hand... "I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Vientiane— it’s by far the best one I’ve stayed at! The hotel is new and very clean, the staff is quick and efficient, and room service was great. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, making for a restful stay. The gym, sauna, and steam room were a much-needed bonus. I’d definitely come back!"

"Best breakfast we had during our one week in Laos, good size room and good quality bed. Clean and well maintained, nice pool area. We booked a room with a balcony because we wanted to enjoy morning coffee/evening drink - it does not come with any furniture though and that is a shame. What is the point of a balcony if there is nowhere to sit? Other than that, most recommended. Location convenient (bikes and motorbikes for rent just across the street) and walking distance to the night market."

"Great property. Large resort. Wish there was a spray by the toilet. The pool is beautiful, plenty of sunny and shady areas to sit. Large breakfast buffet, although it was missing hot chocolate and Nutella availability. Staff if friendly. "

"It’s a beautiful resort driving up. Rooms are good. We got a pool room which was great to be able to just walk into the pool from our room. Only down side is no food option besides breakfast you have to order the night before for a surcharge. Breakfast was great though and worth it. On the upside of no option on sight the staff is amazing at helping you order food to be delivered and will plate it for you. Grab is also great for food delivery to the hotel and just getting around for shopping. Let’s talk about the BEST PART OF OUR STAY! The staff was INCREDIBLE. They helped our group of 8 book a private van tour of Nong Khai and our receptionist Jane was our guide and was amazing. This tour was AMAZING and I can’t recommend it enough. We did so much and saw so much and lunch was included which was so delicious at MustarD Cafe. There were also multiple incidents where we just needed staff help and they were quick to help. We needed to go to 711 to pay for our airline tickets and every grab driver kept cancelling. We asked if someone could take it and without hesitation they did. They didn’t charge us but we tipped and they didn’t even want to accept. Overall our experience has been so good and I couldn’t recommend this resort anymore if you are visiting the area. Thank you VANA."
