The young lady at the desk was extremely efficient, yet personable. She was able to make a "connection" with us in just under 3 min that it took to check in. The property was clean and everyone appeared to be doing their job instead of horsing around, talking or scrolling on their phones. Pool was clean and had no towels. Not surprised as a large group of kids each had 3 or 4 (they're kids and were enjoying themselves)..the towels were promptly restocked as soon as we asked. Tons of restaurants, easy on/off 17(86). Affordable and breakfast (as well as the two ladies setting it up) was good!

The location of the hotel was convenient and the hotel was clean. However, it appeared that staff was not well prepared for the volume of customers. I was put on a wait list for towels and did not get towels until the next day. I had a request a room cleaning on a specific day and when I did not one came to clean the room. I ultimately bought cleaning supplies,cleaned the room, and emptied my garage daily. Lastly, I requested toilet paper which never came but luckily it was the last day there. For this type of service I could have stayed home and did all the things I did at the hotel for free at home.

I give this hotel 5's in every area because it meets or exceeds expectations in every area for what it is. One doesn't expect the Ritz, but you fear Papa's backroad cabins with the outhouse. What I look for is value for money. This hotel makes that ratio as equal as any at which I've stayed. I repeat my criticism from the first review: the television offerings suck. It is not a good luck for the hotel, particularly given the other 5's, and Direct TV is doing itself no favors. I actually considered them as a provider before living with them here. This matters for those of us who must spend time in the hotel as opposed to just overnighting and getting out. Even the local weather isn't available without waiting for the scroll to show the whole country.. Better coffee in the room (I should say stronger, i.e. dark roast - Green Mountain's pretty good) would be nice. They make up for that with the breakfast offerings and I haven't really felt the lack.. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area..
