"We booked a premium room but the room given was completely different to the photos provided. Address was different to what was given on here. Had to wait over an hour for check in time evenknow we arrived within check in time. When we asked about the room being premium we were ignored. On boat staff were fine and accomodating which is the reason I didnt give a lower rating. We ended up booking another place for the second night because we were so disappointed. "

The first boat offered to us was awful with no comfortable seating area and the bedrooms were dismal with dirty linen. "The food on the trip was amazing. We were able to stop and the purchase king prawns and fish and the staff fried it for us. The boat was clean and had been recently refurbished. "We had a great stay at Shamil's villa, a comfortable and spacious property with easy access to the beach. Shamil is an excellent host and responded quickly to any questions or queries during our stay. Varghese, the caretaker, also lives nearby and is always happy to help. It was easy to contact a recommended tuk tuk driver and visit local restaurants, shops etc. We particularly recommend a day boat trip to the backwaters during your stay."
