"The Trout Chalet was everything we had hoped it would be. The owners went above and beyond to warn us about potential road closures with Helene on the way. They made checking out early very easy. "We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Our main draw to this property was the proximity to town and the great view, which did not disappoint. The owners responded very quickly to all of our messages. They were very easy to communicate with. The only issue we had here was getting our front wheel drive SUV up the driveway when it was wet. So depending on the time of year, you might need a 4 wheel drive car."

"Beautiful cabin. Over decorated with lots of dust catchers. Such as many artificial flowers, that are just not cleanable. I am high allergy and feel that things that can’t be dust and/or wiped down between each guest should not be in a home that is being rented,"

"We loved the property being able to go out into the water with our boys. Boys being able to enjoy the nature. The road to get back into there was tricky but the boys enjoyed it and called it the roller coaster. They asked throughout the trip if we were going on the roller coaster again! "

"We had a terrific 3 day weekend in Blue Ridge at the Honeysuckle Chalet. Beautiful, quiet setting but easy access to highway to get into town, go to hiking areas and white water rafting. House is wonderful, clean with comfy beds, fun pool table and great outdoor area for grilling and watching football outside. Can’t wait to go back again."

"Cute place. Not decorated same as listing pictures. Majority of blinds broken. Not a big deal. One tv remote missing. Château was not locked upon arrival. Surprised by a man showing up to do an inspection during our nap on Friday. Would have liked a warning of this appointment."

"This house is spacious, gorgeous, and has the best view around! It was perfect for our girls trip as we were all able to spread out and relax! "

"This house was clean, beautiful, and well designed. We especially liked the porch/deck off the main level. I highly recommend it for family or friends. The downstairs with the ping pong table and tv would be a great hangout for kids/teens, but it could use some better furniture."

"My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. The cabin is literally at the top of the mountain, outstanding views and the fall colors were amazing. Can’t wait to come back!"

"The Lady at the front desk was especially helpful and efficient at check in. We were by the stairs and the others were not so concerned that they sounded like dump trucks going up and down all night. The elevator was a little bit scary..... probably needs some maintainence. The rooms were very clean. Smelled nice. Sheets were very clean. Plenty of towels. "

"We spent a wonderful couple of nights with friends at this spectacular tree house. It was a little rainy and chilly while we were there but the tree house stayed warm and cozy. It was easy to make a few meals in the kitchen and with the gas grill. Overall, a wonderful stay!"
