4 nighter near Cognac

Well located property in very quiet area. Gite has potential and is physically as described. However, some attention to detail is lacking to make this a super place to stay. For example - did not appear to have had a thorough clean certainly not a start of season welcome as cobwebs evident and lots of large insects around the house. Internet not working for first 24 hrs - host responded by buying a replacement router which was much better. We gave up trying to tune in the TV for some home news. Wanted to use oven on our last night but unable to get working for supper. Swimming pool not usable as looked a horrid shade of pale green. A pity really as a large house with potential but not enough care taken to make it suitably attractive at the price charged.
