Overall hotel is good, doesn’t really look like the pictures though! A little tired now in rooms and the outside especially the pool area. Be good if offered food/drink service when relaxing at the pool. Good choice of restaurants in the hotel. Staff seem a little disjointed in knowing about the facilities the hotel offers. Overall good, but would be great with a few improvements.

Ive stayed at this hotel twice. Both were relatively long stays (2 weeks, then 3 weeks) and I had a superb experience both times. The staff is extremely helpful and they are happy go out of their way to ensure your comfort. I got sick last time I was here, they sent the on-call doctor in the middle of the night. I refuse to stay anywhere else in Chennai. The ITC Grand Chola has become my home away from home.

Yes, it IS all its cracked up to be! The most beautiful hotel in Chennai, with helpful and friendly staff and incredible food from MANY different ethnicities (not just North Indian and South Indian, but also Italian, Chinese, American, and others). I travel to Chennai multiple times a year for work and this hotel has made my time away from home SO much easier. It took me a week just to explore all the beautiful nooks and crannies of the first few floors, and the serviced apartment was a wonderful place to live, with everything you may need to cook a meal in the full-sized kitchen, plus a washer/dryer, a gorgeous walk-in shower, a comfortable sitting room, plus a deep and relaxing tub. I cant say enough about this place... its an "experience" on its own!

From check in to check out absolutely a wonderful experience. Very beautiful property. Huge palace kind of a place. Room was very clean and simply gorgeous. Amenities are excellent. They thought of EVERYTHING you may need. Bed was very comfy. Room was spacious with so many storage, safe deposit locker, mini fridge, coffee maker etc.Breakfast was unbelievably good with so so so many varieties of items including Chinese, continental etc. And the BEST part was the staff. Each and every member of the team was extremely courteous , friendly and went above and beyond to serve, help and comfort us. Can’t thank them enough. We absolutely loved our stay, enjoyed every moment there. Would definitely recommend chola to everyone. Please don’t think twice , just go ahead and book . You will have a great time I promise.

One of the best hotels I had the pleasure staying. The rooms are clean, the hotel staff are all very courteous, and the food in the hotel restaurants are great as well. Just a pity i didnt try avartana. Prolly next time. The spa experience was alao fantastic!
