"Sadly, our stay was not what we expected as the reality did not match the facilities and information given on Hotels.com. Positives - Our room (Rabelais) was quiet, clean and attractive. Negatives - We had great difficulty finding the very rural property using the address given and had to ask locals for directions, twice. (The hostess admitted the address was wrong.) "Absolutely couldn't wish for a better place to relax and recharge our 'parent' batteries. Beautiful place with a great and friendly service. Completely tranquil and romantic. "We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."

Sofa bed when as a couch was faux leather and quite damaged.
