Garden Flat (Grade 2 Listed) With Courtyard Garden Close To Town Centre

This spacious garden flat with its own quiet courtyard is conveniently located within walking distance of the town centre and the race course. Cheltenham has jazz, music, science and literature festivals and is an ideal centre for exploring the Cotswolds. The flat is close to Pittville Park and lakes with extensive leisure facilities.

The flat is the original servants quarters of a grade 2 listed Regency villa and retains original features such as shutters to most rooms. There are two bedrooms - one with a king size bed and the other with the option of a super king or two singles. The bedrooms are carpeted with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge. The lounge is spacious with a feature fireplace, sofas, easy chairs and dining area. The flat has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a bathroom with over bath shower, and a utility room with washing machine. We provide all linen and other basics.

Outside the flat has its own street entrance to the front and a courtyard garden to the rear with table and chairs. Free on-street parking is available in front of the property and at the rear.

Cozy and close to everything
We found the flat to be well appointed and even more spacious than the description. While this is a lower level flat, there is much natural light from windows in every room. We had our own private outdoor sitting garden which was very charming, however weather did not permit for us use it. The flat is super convenient, and we walked everywhere to the parks, the shops, the pubs and theater. John and his wife are lovely hosts and very responsive. I was lucky enough to meet them and really enjoyed our brief conversation. We felt as though we were family during our stay.

The property was excellent. Bed very comfy. Everywhere clean. I had to be careful on the stairs down to the flat but then I'm over 80. Only real snag was an occasional difficulty in getting a parking spot adjacent to the flat. Daytime they may be used by people going into work in the town.

The flat was absolutely lovely, spotlessly clean and had every possible thing we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, the living area was comfy and warm and the beds were lovely and comfortable with warm duvets and fluffy pillows. It was perfect for a long weekend for 3 sisters and close enough to the town centre to wander by foot to see everything we wanted to see. We didn't meet our hosts but communication was good before and during our stay. We would love to return soon.

The flat is in a great location within easy walking distance to bus transportation and shopping. The apt is very clean with comfortable beds and attractive, cozy linens with plenty of pillows.
