"Checked in 3/16. Notice on door on 3/17 saying "Boil Water" advising to not use water unless boiled. Very inconvenient. Couldnt shower/wash up. Bought 5 gal. spring water to brush teeth/wash over sink. Very tough each day. We desire refund."

"Close to Sugarbush and Mad River. 10min to Waitsfield, 30min to Waterbury. The road in can be difficult in mud season - very deep mud in some parts of the road. Really nice to be able to look out the back door at the trees, birds, and squirrels though! "

"3 excellent days of snowmobiling in Vermont! Each day, we took off on trails right on this property! So convenient! It was nice to have a warm clean place to return to each day. We will definitely return!"

"The house was very cozy and well lit, the design was neat and I liked it very much. It wasn't a long drive to the ski resorts in the area from the house either. Overall a great experience and I would recommend anyone considering to stay here to take the place!"

"The property was clean, quiet and had plenty of room. It was conveniently located in the Mad River Valley. As with all rentals it did have some quirks. 2 washcloths for 5 people, 3 chairs (we found a 4th in a closet). The stove was the biggest problem. The oven temperature plate was broken so you had no idea what the temp was and the large stovetop element had issues. A pan of hamburgers almost slid off. We would still come back. I normally bring extra washcloths because the last thing we want...

"We don't usually visit Vermont in mud season so that was an education in itself. But we came to see family: the goats were just an added bonus adventure, a little test to see if the city kids would enjoy the farm. 100% wonderful experience: feeding a pen full of friendly baby goats, softer than puppies, milking a momma goat, learning their names, markings, the business, etc, just a delight. "Very nice place to stay. They conditioned the place to have an entry were you can boot up and leave your skies to dry too. In general, it was a good place to stay as a couple with 2 kids. For more adults, it would be a challenge. Beds were quite hard. They have a lot of utensils, china and silverware. The Bridges also has a shuttle to go to the mountain (so you can leave your car parked). EV charges avaiable. "

"It's a small vintage New England Inn - and perfect for those that would rather have a good nights sleep and a friendly atmosphere over the sterility of a large commercial chain. No staff hovering and self check-in. A buffet breakfast of cereals, yogurt, fruit, coffee and tea. The owner upgraded me to a larger room free of charge after I had made my reservation. I will return next time I'm in the area. "

Cozy Loft for two with Hot Tub & Mtn Views

What a wonderful Week

"My wife and I stayed in "The Little Loft" for a ski trip to Sugarbush. The cabin it small for sure but offers everything you will need from a standpoint of short term livability. We used that hot tub daily / nightly after skiing all day, had a great meal we grilled out and had a few nice bonfires as well. If you do not want to have to drive 30 minutes for dinner or shop for your food and cook it, then you may find it a small inconvenience but for us we intentionally wanted to be in a quiet cabin without a lot of people, lights and sounds. There were a few hiking trials in driving distance as well, so we hiked a few, I nice easy one was Texas Falls (might have the name wrong) but for an easy hike with great scenery that's a good one to hit up. We also took in a winery and had some great meals in Brandon (about a 25 minute drive). If you are looking to secure a very nice place to stay while you ski or want to enjoy the outdoors look no further. Just if you are 6-3 like me (or taller) watch your head in the loft :)"

Early spring getaway

"Took a ride up for a nice little retreat and for my wife’s bday, such a treat! Jeff even stopped by with some wine as a gift, since I had mentioned it when booking. The space is super cozy and functional, and the hot tub was great way to relax at the end of the day. The gas fireplace gets things nice and warm, too! It had been a while since I personally visited this area of Vermont, super beautiful and remote, but still not too long of a drive to several areas of interest. Looking forward to going back!"
