When we arrived the front desk staff were neither welcoming nor informative. The bed mattresses were very hard and each person got only one pillow. In the bathroom, the water was only luke warm, there was no shampoo, conditioner or lotion (only one kind of soap in a pump dispenser). My husband got an electric shock when his head happened to touch the light cover to the left of the sink. Breakfast buffet was quite sufficient.
Great breakfast, located in the center of the medina, AC, rooftop terrace, super cute hotel, friendly staff and nice bathrooms. I stayed there with my adult children and would highly recommend it.

Rooms and bathrooms are a lot smaller in person. Average stay with really nice staff however
Great location close to car park for those who drive like we did. Very close to the main square makes for easy shopping and sightseeing. Good service, clean comfortable room. Recommend for an overnight stay in the blue city.
I recently stayed at Hotel Dar Mounir and it was a delightful experience! From the moment I checked in, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great rooftop view. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was impressive. It's rare to find a place that pays such attention to detail. The atmosphere was relaxing, making it a perfect getaway spot. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free and enjoyable stay!
It was clean and very friendly staff. Close to attractions. The room is small but cute. Like fairytale. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic location and staff are wonderful. Everyone is kind and accommodating. Rooms are bit small. Everything else was great!
Thank you for your hospitality!
We had a great stay. WlMy friend and I chose Dar Mounir because they had a wider variety of bed options rather than just the standard one double or two singles. The breakfast was decent but not amazing, but the staff are out of this world, really.
The hotel is easy to find and is in a great location for walking to all of the attractions. The Medina is small and easy to navigate and very safe. The best part of all was the friendly and helpful front desk girl who helped us in booking bus and train tickets in advance and printing them off for us, as well as restaurant suggestions and directions. The breakfast was good as well. I wouldn’t miss visiting this Blue City. A very unique place in the world and this hotel was perfect for our stay.
For Morocco standards is is very cute clean hotel. It is hard so get here, just like everywhere in the blu city ( I am 50, it too much steps for me) . There is portable AC in the room, very helpful, because it’s super hot outside.
B'fast needs an re-think everything else was great
Funky, fun riad just off the main square. Two issues, if you are tall watch your head everywhere. Also, the breakfast needs a serious upgrade. It's as if they are watching every slice of bread.
The hotel is fantastic !! Beautiful construction in the middle of the zoco. Very nice decoration, traditional decoration, big room and confortable. Very nice and helpful staff. The only negative thing it's that it's in the middle of the zoco, so as we went with our own car, the parking was quite difficult because the city was crowded. So we just take a place to park in one of the main street and walk around 10-15 minutes to the road. But it's definitely a very good option !!
The staff were very helpful, the guy helped me take the luggage upstairs through stairways. The young lady the next day let me use her own umbrella because it's raining so hard outside.... The young guy who served the breakfast also helped carry my two suitcases to the garage after the man from the garage failed to come to pick it up as promised.... It was a good location and convenient to walk around and explore the beautiful blue alleys...
This hotel does not offer a breakfast buffet. Only continental, bread, donuts, coffee, tea, 9am found two warm yogerts.
My rooms were so hot, put air conditioner to 17f, came back 3 hours later 29f.
Three elevators and only one works. Hotel is a sauna in July. It needs painting and maintenance desperately. Exposed wires, peeling paint, broken fountain. The photos on Expedia are outdated for 10 years. I dont recommend this hotl for anyone.

Be warned- this place is not what the reviews on Expedia make it out to be. Location was excellent- near the main square, but tucked away. Otherwise, overpriced.
Our room smelled constantly (mostly coming from bathroom)- I looked at one other room option and that one had a similar smell.
Housekeeping was "offered" daily but not actually provided- for us, they said they didn’t have a duplicate of our key so couldn’t clean it. They told us this at noon and didn’t offer a later cleaning. Its not our fault we have the only key to the room!
Breakfast was good but pretty standard for the area. Fresh squeezed OJ a plus.
I’ve been to Chefchaouen before. I stayed at a cheaper hostel and enjoyed their room and breakfast much more.
No trashcan in the room. No water, no tea. Mattresses uncomfortable and very firm.
Safe reportedly available at front desk but not in individual rooms. Note that at the front desk, the main door is always wide open and the staff steps away from time to time, so it isn’t always watched. The area is pretty safe, but still made me uneasy.
