We would like to assure you that every precaution has been taken and the housekeeping staff follows the CDC guidelines for cleanliness.

This cozy little cottage is perfect for two! It sits right on the water's edge of beautiful Lake Huron in scenic northern Michigan. Tucked away between Mackinaw City and Cheboygan, this little gem offers incomparable views of Mackinac Island and the Mighty Mackinac Bridge. There are 5 acres and over 330 feet of frontage on the aquamarine lake. The beach is private and the cottage is peaceful and quiet - a perfect getaway for 2. The cottage is one-room with a queen-size bed and dresser, a small kitchen and dining area and a bathroom with a shower. Enjoy a good book on the front porch or sunbathe in the spacious yard. Bring your bikes because if you cross the street, you are on a 62 mile bike/hike trail that runs from Gaylord to Mackinaw. Feel free to bring your canoe or kayak and put in right on the beach for a carefree day of peaceful paddling. The cottage is located halfway between the Village of Mackinaw City and Cheboygan, where you can enjoy shopping, dining, museums or just an evening ice cream cone at one of the many shops in town.

The property is shared with 3 other units (VRBO 573662, 609883, 871262) which are also available for rent but located a good distance away. Lem's Paradise #1, Lem's Paradise #2 and Little Lem's share the property and 335 feet of frontage on Lake Huron. You can rent any of them separately or together if you need extra space for a large family gathering. (There are beds for a total of 18) All bedding, linens, dishes, etc. are included.

Mackinaw trip
Property was perfect for my wife and I. Gorgeous views of Lake Huron and the bridge. Hosts had a lot of helpful suggestions and the homemade cookies were delicious. Location had easy access to Mackinaw City and the bridge to St Ignace and to ferry boats to Mackinaw Island.

Great little cottage with a gigantic view!
Enjoyed my mornings and evenings, looking out at the view with my beverage of choice. This was a central location to visit many areas in northern Michigan and the UP. The owners were very friendly and informational. The cottage was clean and comfortable and whatever you needed was nearby but you felt like you were very secluded because of the location near the lake. We definitely have this one on our list of favorites.

The property was really nice. We had the small cabin but there's also a hotel and the owners house on property. It was really quiet and wildlife was plentiful. The room is cute and the view of the sky at night was AMAZING!!! the beach was ok. Not great for rock hunting but swimming is good. Couple things to work on: The cleaning fee is astronomical. For that price that place should've been spotless. The air freshener or cleaner has a very strong odor. Please consider switching to something more natural. The see through curtains with a gap were creepy because anyone can go anywhere on that property at anytime. someone can walk by and see if you're in the bathroom (with the toilet window lol) or changing. Also, you must book 4 nights to get the free ferry tickets.

Relaxing Getaway
This cozy cabin was a perfect place for a relaxing week long getaway. The combination of the cabin being far off the road and the huge yard made it feel like there was no one else around. The cabin had all the necessary amenities but if we needed anything, Mackinaw City and Cheboygan were a close drive away. My husband and I took many walks along Lake Huron with our 18 month old son. He loved the rocky shoreline, the sand and the plant life. At night, my husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet sitting on the deck or enjoying a warm fire. And, the location was a good starting point to take off to Mackinaw Island or Tahquamenon Falls for the day. We would definitely return.

Million Dollar View
The name of the property says it all!! The one room cabin was a perfect get away. There was access to the bike trail directly across the street and the 7 mile bike ride into town was very nice. It was nice to “come home” each night to our own place. There were no issues - the binder of information regarding the property was helpful and the cookies were delicious!

What a wonderful cottage! Cozy yet perfect. We loved the location, the view, wow! Stunning and priceless!! And, we were greeted by our beautiful, delightful host while seriously, an eagle flew over us. The place is magical. Thank you!

This was a perfect quiet getaway. We brought our kayaks and we were able to kayak the coast and go to shore whenever we wanted. The weather was perfect during our 4 day stay. Close enough to all the excitement but far enough to be peaceful.

We had an amazing time on our anniversary trip to this cabin! Very cozy place with a breathtaking view of Lake Huron. Sweet owners that checked to make sure everything was perfect but gave us our privacy too. Would definitely stay again if we decide to come back to Mackinaw!
