Excellent Getaway Spot
The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that.

Chazy Vacay
This property worked well for us as we have family in the area. We all enjoyed the lake and use of kayaks and paddle boat. We also used the gas grill for a cookout and the bar seating worked perfectly for our meals.

Quiet, pristine beach and a spacious home
You could square dance in the great room! Spacious porch, quiet waters to kayak or swim in. Comfortable furniture and beds, well-equipped kitchen, including a choice of placemats. A railing on the stairs to the lower garden would be helpful.

Perfect Lakehouse for a family.
Simple Lakehouse, open floor plan, access to lake. Room to play board games, and spend time as a family on rainy days. Owner was very responsive. Property was clean and well maintained.

Beautiful house , amazing location!
We, 2 families with kids, had a great stay at the house. We found it very cosy, clean, with everything we needed to feel at home. It is located right on the lake, with the lake access to swim or go fishing. Thank you ,John, for your hospitality!

Located in a quite lakeside residential neighborhood. Great room ( living room, kitchen, dining room perfect for gathering as a family. Covered patio facing lake, perfect for breakfast time. Waterfront/ outdoor area ideal for kayaking and SUP. Bathrooms are spacious, modern and clean. Primary bedroom bed is comfortable.

Beautiful sunsets
The house was beautifully set on Champlain lake. We loved spending evenings around the fire overlooking the lake. The neighbor was very hospitable. The house was clean and came with all needed amenities. It was a plus having two kayaks.

A Short Stay with Family
This lakehouse made it possible for my large family to comfortably visit with family in Chazy. We made every meal in the large kitchen or on the grill and were able to eat together. We had some impressive thunderstorms which we were able to enjoy on the porch under the protection of the roof. Luckily it didn’t get hot outside until the day we left because I imagine the house would get hot.

Quiet neighborhood with peaceful waterfront. The house did have a heavy odor of bleach/ cleaning products and the overhead fan in the bunk room was not working, but I bought some fans from the hardware store. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Just left, want to turnaround and go back.
Host was nice to work with. Easy check-in and easy check-out.. No issues, no complaints. To nitpick any part of our stay would be inappropriate and unwarranted. Place is great for our needs. Clean, big, private, closeness to Plattsburgh, overall location, great yard, views, and a quiet road, (dead-end). Overall a great place to borrow for a week. Will be staying here again and again if dates match up. Rent this place and go relax. Thanks for a great stay.

Great Lake Champlain Getaway Locale, Accessible to Numerous Cities and Attractions !!
The house is immaculate, the kitchen/living room/dining area is massive, and the very large jetted tub is a very nice “cherry on top” ! The owners are very friendly, easily reachable and anxious to please their guests. The house is just minutes from the lovely Point au Roche State Park Beach and various good and public fishing spots, both from the shore and by boat. Also only about an hour, and thus an easy day trip, from Montreal, Burlington and Lake Placid, as well as such great attractions as The Wild Center, the Museum at Blue Mountain Lake, and Ausable Chasm. A home run of a week on The Lake, we will surely be back to this great property

Just what we needed :)
We really enjoyed our stay on Lake Champlain! It’s a quiet corner of the world giving us just the vacation we needed. Great for kayaking! If you want to swim, you just need to paddle out a bit out of the marsh and are able to stand waist deep for a nice dip! Really cool. The neighbor actually told us to do that, and it was perfect! Really beautiful house on a quiet corner of the lake. We would love to go back someday! :)

We found the property to be very clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is protected so it is a good place to moor your boat. I beached our 17 foot tracker without a problem. The water is very shallow which makes it safe for the kids. The bottom is muddy. It would be nice if the owner added a dock.

A beautiful lakeside house! Being on the lakeshore was just amazing with many hours spent fishing & kayaking. Swimming wasn't the best because it is quite shallow for 50+/- yards out but that didn't deter us :) The location was perfect for our family of 4, a quiet community with nearby State parks & ice cream stands. The house was open with plenty of room. But with no rugs or curtains, there was an echo in the house that made it hard to hear each other.
