Beautifully located next to the castle in the centre of Chaves. Close to supermarkets, aswell as bars and restaurant. The hotel is modern, fresh and the staff are friendly and will go the extra mile to satisfy your needs. Will choose Castelo next time I go back to Chaves.

From the lobby to our bathroom and also the spa area, all the details in onyx marble are stunning. Very quiet and tasteful. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide assortment of fruit and local pastries. We could walk everywhere.

The property was nice most of the staff were friendly but they knuckle and dime you. It's 5 E a day to park if you want secure parking, it's 10 E to use the pool bc it's in the "spa" and if you like to walk around and see things it's about a 5 to 10 min walk to anything other than the castle.
