"What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. The home is charming and beautiful. The room was perfection and the grounds were such a surprise. I had no idea they were world class manicured gardens complete with a labyrinth! Eric had prepared a list of recommended restaurants in the area, which is helpful. The room was quiet and spacious. "This place was awesome. All of us including the children loved it. House is located in the picturesque countryside in Brittany not far from mount St. Michel. It was clean, organized, newly renovated, and well equipped. All beds were comfortable including the pullout couch. Restaurant and grocery store close by. I wished we could have stayed longer."
