"Nice, clean property with pleasant garden. Owner lives next door and kindly provided us with fresh eggs from his hens! Unfortunately there was no hot tub which had been stated in the advert. When asked about this the owner said he knew nothing about a hot tub. As the hot tub was the main reason for choosing this gite we were extremely disappointed. The next day when we reviewed the advert again there was no mention of a hot tub. Very disappointing and misrepresented. L. Reed "

"We enjoyed the esthetic of this old house. We were there in late October and while there is heat, it is an older drafty house without modern windows etc and the thermostat limited to 19 C, which felt kind of chilly. I think it would be wonderful in summer. Kitchen was good except all the knives were very dull- hard to cut our baguette. The listing says there is a dryer and hot tub, but there is not. Only a washer and bathtub. The cleanliness was okay but once I discovered it was our job to clean...

"Good accommodation with all essentials. Pellet stove kept everything warm and dry; kitchen, though basic, had everything we needed to cook for four. Nearest supermarket 15 minutes away in Albert - great place for exploring WW1 battlefields and museums."

"We stayed here for a week and we all really enjoyed it. Perfect for us 3 (2 adults and an 11 year old) . Lovely location and easy to find. Would recommend this for small families or couples. Paul, Michelle & Dexter"
