only complaints were driveway and low funriture
The apartment was lovely and so much room for the price! It was difficult to get up the driveway at first, but aftera couple of times we figured out how to back in. My husband and I both have knee and back issues, so the living room furniture was quite low to the ground and difficult to get up from, and it was difficult for us to get over into the tub to shower. The apartment was clean and well appointed. The shides across the street were cute as cound be. Loved istting on the front porch.

Clean, relaxing stay
Apartment is cute and clean with lots of extras if you have kids- like a crib, high chair and toys. Two if the beds are very comfortable, but the other is creaky. Had we needed all 3 beds it would have been tough. The neighborhood is nice.

Exactly what we needed
2 adults, 2 teens, and 2 dogs and a five and a half hour drive, we needed convenience, room, and a great host. We got all checked in and crashed. We woke up and i fixed french press coffee and we enjoyed it out on the the front porch. We found everything to be awesome and our golden retriever loved the hallway. Speaking of, i reached out and asked about our dogs. We have a toddler and tween (1 year old golden and a 2 year old papillon.) They seemed to enjoy themselves, mainly. This was their first vacation and they were good boys. We had a fantastic time, thank you for having us Lydia and Nick!

Great location but needs upgrade
Property managers were great. Very helpful and attentive. The space is older and needs a bit of an upgrade. Bathroom did not vent well, was constantly moist and didn’t not allow for towels to dry. Kitchen needs upgraded appliances, dish wear and pots and pans. It was slightly difficult to cook for a family of four. It was ok for the three nights we were there but would probably not stay again.

Family visit
We had a wonderful stay. This is an older home with very large rooms. Everything seems to be very well cared for. The neighborhood is quiet with little traffic, which is good because unless you are used to steep mountain drives, you’ll want to park on the street. The location is very convenient with short, easy drives to everything we wanted to do.

Quiet close to it all downtown.
Spacious, well stocked with supplies, and in a quiet nice neighborhood. We agree that the driveway can be a challenge, especially for flatlanders, but easy enough once experienced. Played games on the large table. We walked the neighborhood, and enjoyed it. Drove literal 5 minutes to downtown. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great place, super convenient!
Super spacious, downstairs apartment was clean, close, and so easy to get to everything Chattanooga had to offer. Lydia was an extremely welcoming host and fantastic with communications. Excellent stay.

Not great if you have sensitivity to mold
Great location, nice beds, everything you would need is available. Unfortunately, our experience was terrible. There was an obvious mold problem with mold spores on ceiling. The entire apartment smelled like mold. We had to sleep with the windows open just to breath. Hair and clothes smelled like mold the entire time. We developed allergy symptoms every time we were in the house. I couldn’t wait to leave and felt horrible having my kids there.

A mix of comfort and quirk
3.25 stars out of 5. Some friends, my girlfriend and I stayed here over the Thanksgiving holidays. We found it a clean and relaxing place to stay and regroup between family holiday festivities held elsewhere. The kitchen was inviting & well equipped, but we didn't cook on this trip, outside of daily use of the coffeepot and ample provided coffee. The living room had a comfy leather couch and matching easy chair, and the 5 of us watched a few streamed programs on the provided Roku TV. We felt a little odd using the SmartTV profiles that were there, so we used a laptop and HDMI cable we had plus their WiFi -- and we streamed HD video without a hiccup. We found the beds comfy enough, but additional blankets didn't seem to be on hand, but thermostat was very flexible and easy to operate for dialing up whatever ambient temp you like. Our stay was overall good, but there were a handful of small detractors. The driveway (as advertised) could be a bit of a challenge, but we were able to successfully park 2 vehicles a handful of times before one of the drivers tired of the extra effort and parked on the street. If you are squeamish about driving steep driveways, do yourself a favor and just park on the street, which is very safe and oncoming traffic is gentle. The 3 bedrooms were comfortable and 2 were quite large spaces, with full closet spaces attached. One of the larger bedrooms (also as advertised) only had access by walking through the smallest bedroom. There are 2 other doors in that larger bedroom, but they are code-locked and likely hide cleaning suppliest and/or access to the owners' living space upstairs. The one bathroom is a little insufficient for its 3 bedroom layout and potential 6 adult occupants' needs, but we always had enough hot water; we made it work, though it's located on the far end of the house from the front door and 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The non-bedroom living space is a bit echoey, and since we could hear their dog upstairs from time to time, we got the feeling it might be relatively easy to hear us, but overall we felt comfortable and festive and tried to keep things quiet after 11pm, per owner's request. The listed quirks aren't really covered in the VRBO rating system, yet were pretty palpable to us. I've stayed in maybe 20 similar VRBO places over the last few years, and though communication, supplies, and cleanliness were great, I would hesitate bringing this group back to this location, but 1-2 couples would work fine.

Good place overall and would possibly stay again
Good place overall, clean, easy access to downtown and good communication from hosts. My review was lowered by three things, the locking and unlocking of the door was a little difficult and required extra attention and work because the app used for the smart lock did not send us any notification. We had to check with the hosts and the app did not work with the in house wifi for some reason so we had to switch off wifi when unlocking or locking the door. The wifi was very spotty throughout the stay which normally would not be a big deal but because we were requiring it for baby cameras for our kids it was pretty troublesome. Finally, probably the biggest issue was the driveway having poor lighting and being dangerous to navigate due to this. When pulling in one night I attempted to do the, recommended by host, 3 point turn using the upper drive. However due to poor lighting the front of our car dropped off section we could not see and damaged our front right bumper. Ultimately I was driving but it would have been really helpful to be able to see that drop off more clearly with better lighting. I would recommend some pathway lights or flood light to help future guests. Again, overall the location and place were great and the hosts were easy to get a hold of and address any issues. I wish I could give 5 stars but due to those things mentioned I think it would not be fair.

Good basement stay
Great space to have to one or multiple people and pet friendly with ability to open the front door to the front yard with a private ridge! There is a little bit of walking above but it's not excessive or at early or late hours. 3 full bedrooms and lots of sitting space in the common area. Very close to stringers ridge for hiking, red bank dog park for dogs, a gas station and grocery store, and almost anywhere in chattanooga is within 15-20 minutes
