"What a spot! These brand new condos are in a pretty sprawling complex that is walking distance to the beach. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen functional and well stocked. The only strange thing about the place is that there are great 2 shower en-suites but only one toilet that looks like an afterthought in a laundry room - very bizarre. All in all a great spot, though, would recommend."

"This was our first stay and we really enjoyed it. We had a double and pullout / sofa bed. The air conditioning was very effective and the room very quiet. The swimming pool facilities are fantastic and a real highlight of a stay. We'd have appreciated longer hours for our kid to be able to use the indoor pool (perhaps lunchtime when the pool is a lot emptier). I'd suggest relaxing the hours in off-season also. Breakfast was satisfactory. We also enjoyed using the ping pong table. It's located about a 30 mins walk from centre of Chatelaillon / train station and we walked it. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you all the way to La Rochelle. All in all, we intend to return next year. "

"We arrived at the property to meet the house cleaner who did not speak English which made understanding the requirements challenging. The beds were not made and towels were not within the property and it seemed that we had to pay extra for these and had to make our own beds which was a surprise . We understood the requirement to leave €17 at the end of the visit for the cost of sheets and towels which we would not have expected. The property itself was wonderful, very spacious And had been well finished. The location is superb with a two minute walk to the beach and a two minute walk to The Boulevard. All the facilities worked very well and it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Despite the VRBO site. Stating we needed to leave the property at 11:00 hours we were asked to leave at 10:00 hours. That appeared to be some miscommunication about cleaning of the property and it seems that we were expected to pay for the cleaning of the property when we left which did not seem reasonable as would have considered this to be included within the original pricing of the property, which we had already paid. Apart from paying for our sheets and towels and being expected to thoroughly deep clean the property or paying an additional cost the visit itself was superb. The town is lovely. The property is lovely and would happily visit again."
