"This is a lovely and charming cottage in the setting of the farms and vineyards of the Loire Valley. The cottage was beautifully restored with rustic beams, a nice kitchen, and a spiral staircase leading to the bedroom with two comfortable beds and skylights. We were greeted by ducks and chickens in the private front yard and presented a bottle of Sancerre by the owner. The property is ideally situated close to to the town of Sancerre and its vineyards and made it an easy day trip for visiting...

"Great spot to stay, clean rooms & friendly owners. Bedroom tighter than expected. Biggest issue was with Vrbo as had not sent request before staying for second payment / invoice & had not been paid, was rather embarrassing. Doubt if using again."

"Enjoyed our stay in Pouilly with Steven. The village has like all small towns, shops for sale or let and only the wine caves are keeping the town alive. Within 100 meters of the cottage there are 3 caves selling their wine which is excellent and reasonably priced. Steven's accommodation is good value but he could try to reduce the temperature of the hot water taps. Good luck for the future. George & Christine from Scotland"
