"I arrived by motorcycle and there is private safe parking in the courtyard for motorcycles and bicycles which is excellent. The owner met me (a fellow motorcyclist) and checked me in. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel is tired but clean and comfortable. No Aircon but the fan in the room kept me nice and cool so all worked well. Small room and not much space for luggage but it is slap bang in the centre so you can't expect much else. Slept very comfortably and left early the next day."

"Modern simple room, no tea or coffee in the room. There was a hair next to the sink and a tiny bit of dirt in the shower but overall it was clean and fine. Housekeeping knocked the door twice, waking us up the first time, so use the do not disturb sign if you want a lay in. I realised upon arrival it would have been cheaper to book directly. "

"Lady at reception during check-in was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you. Breakfast was great to kick start a busy day. Room was clean but wasn't that spacious. Shower quite small. Though bed was comfortable, which was great for a good night's rest. Centrally located and easily accessible, just walkong distance from train station, ma8n bus station and ma8n shopping street. "

"The hotel is right in the middle of a resort with a zoo, casino, indoor ski slope and skating, Roman pool, spa and many other things besides including many restaurants and nearby within a few minutes drive there are supermarkets and shopping centres. "Points très positifs: - réception ouverte 24/7 - parking aisé - confort de la literie - chambre relativement spacieuse - prix attractif Points négatifs: - énormément de poussière sur le mur au-dessus de la tête de lit (un oubli?) - paroi de douche pas assez longue/receveur de douche pas suffisamment profond - par conséquent toute l'eau coule sur le sol de la salle de bain - les vendredis et samedis soirs, le restaurant situé à côté de l'hôtel met de la musique jusqu'à 23h00 voire 23h30 - musique et vibrations qui s'entendent depuis les chambres. Ce n'est pas grave en cas d'arrivée tardive, mais cela peut être gênant pour les personnes qui veulent se coucher plus tôt. Cependant, dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cet hôtel."

Convenient overnight stay hotel en route.

"Our stay was Sat 26 Oct - 27 Oct not as above! A very convenient overnight stay on our way home from Southern Germany. Comfortable, clean and friendly. Two comments made about our overnight stay on our way to South Germany seemed to have been dealt with as we had the chance of an evening meal on arrival and fruit at breakfast the next day. We will stay there again next year as we have done for the past 10 or more years."

Comfort and Value near Luxembourg City

"This hotel is wonderful value. Clearly an old building, it has been renovated inside to be open and welcoming. The bathroom in a single room was half the size of the room, with an effective modern shower. The restaurant meal was excellent. The 22 minute drive to industrial Contern was easy, with no traffic to speak of."
