"The weather was perfect. The only complaint I have were my allergies. One of the negatives pointed out by the hotel staff was the swan and her nest on site with the male being very protective but we thought it was amazing! Highly recommend taking advantage of the spa. "

"Terrible experience. We were not provided an access email or key to enter the room, and waited for over an hours outside until we finally were able to receive the email with the code to enter the building and room. For some, they may enjoy a super small 25 sqm room with only a small couch as a bed. But for us, there was no joy because there was no electricity or hot water in the room! When we spoke (again) with the property manager, he and his dad assumed the electricity was likely turned off due to the unpaid bills or as they said “no electricity contract” by unit owner. Again we waited to communicate with Expedia and management company for hours until Finally, the property manager moved us to a different unit. By then it was past 9 pm and over four hours had passed since we arrived. For those considering this unit, it is on the third floor without an elevator. The rooftop had a table and chairs because there wasn’t any room in the unit. The unit may have been a fun bohemian adventure about 50 years ago when adults were smaller… but there are several other options to explore and consider. We were lucky the manager relocated us and all we lost was time. "

"We had a wonderful stay on Rue Gambetta, a pedestrian only street in the heart of Libourne.The apartment was spotless and was completely as described. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were modern. The kitchen was well equipped and the table seated 6 people comfortably.Our host, Christophe, answered all our questions promptly.Overall a very nice stay in the Bordeaux region. "

"Owners Laurent and Corrine and their furry co-hosts Sir Tango and Titi were all so incredibly welcoming! My husband and I stayed for three days on our honeymoon, and after a rainy week in Paris, our stay at the Maison Mulato was a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed a delicious and substantial breakfast every morning on their beautiful and tranquil patio which gave us all the energy we needed to explore the area. Libourne is a cute and fairly quiet little town but it was the perfect spot to use as a home base for exploring Bordeaux and St. Emilion. We enjoyed chatting with Laurent and Corinne each morning, and appreciated all their recommendations and help throughout our stay. We are so thankful for them welcoming us into their beautiful home and would absolutely visit again. Highly recommend for a quiet and peaceful getaway. "

"Only a step away from everything in Libourne Great little place for a couple. Old spiral wooden staircase to living section so no good for older people. Kitchen well equipped. Washing machine I garage. Outside really not great but can put washing out there to dry Great communication with host."
