"We have stayed at this property twice, lovely, clean,modern and a great host. The house is attached to the owners home which is surrounded by a lovely large garden. There is a double bed upstairs which is a mezzanine. Downstairs has everything you need plus a double sofa bed. We were there for 3 wks and loved being there. Close to Talmont and short drive to beach. "

"Le gîte est une grande maison campagnarde au calme avec un très grand jardin. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à 2 familles (11 personnes) sans avoir l’impression d’être « les uns sur les autres », ce qui était précieux. Ce gîte de campagne a aussi les défauts de ses qualités (mobilier un peu ancien, débit de l’eau limité quand les 3 douches fonctionnent en même temps), mais il a un indéniable cachet que nous avons beaucoup apprécié."

"The property is well fitted out and has everything one needs for a trouble free and relaxing holiday. I surrounded by farms and hence is peaceful and very quiet at night. Getting bread for breakfast did involve using my car to cover the 2 miles or so to the village. Jard sur Mar is only about 10 miles away and is a lovely seaside town with a fine harbour and is well worth a visit, as are the other towns and villages in the region. I will definitely consider returning in the future."

"Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme et l'environnement extérieur de cette belle ferme rénovée, également la proximité des plages et des sables d'Olonne. La maison est bien équipée au niveau de la cuisine et nous avons apprécié le lave linge et sèche linge (non précisé dans l'annonce). Attention à bien aérer, les maisons de bord de mer sont toujours un peu humide."

"Compact and comfortable. Well fitted out and storage for our bikes. Michel and Paulette are great hosts, made us very welcome and provided help with local maps and attractions. This GÎTE in their garden is very quiet and peaceful, only 5 min walk to the coast and about 20 mins into town. The inaccuracy of the listing was our main issue - there is no washer or dryer, as listed, and the host (whilst lovely) did want to charge us extra for the towels and bedding (listed as included). "We had a very nice time in the stone cottage. The place was clean, well-equiped and spacious. We received a warm welcome by Catherine, and the communication was easy and transparent.The little private garden and the swimming pool were very nice and clean. The cottage is a 10-minute drive to the sea and within 1-hour driving distance to many interesting places with a range of family-friendly activities. Highly recommended for a family vacation!"
