"We were the only guests at the chateau. The property is beautiful and the owner very hospitable and welcoming. There are 4 peacocks that roam the chateau grounds which are beautiful. In the morning the owner presented us with a gorgeous breakfast in his chateau dining room which was very elegant. All considered, we would love to stay at Chateau de Chantore again. 5 stars."

The resident manager, Pascale, was delightful, helpful and it was so pleasant to chat with her during our stay. She recommended a lovely restaurant in a nearby town and arranged reservations for us on a busy Friday night. Made to order breakfast, extensive honor bar with drinks and snacks, beautiful suite and common areas and very reasonable pricing; you can't go wrong with Chateau La Remetiere!"

"Das Hotel ist kein Hotel wie der Name vermuten läßt. es ist ein B&B. Es gibt keine Adresse, die das Navy problemlos findet. Als wir dann nach diversen Nachfragen, Anrufen und falschen Richtungen ankamen, hat mir der Hausherr Vorwürfe gemacht, dass ich meine Emails nicht gecheckt hätte, denn in der Mail hätte er mir alles erklärt. Ich gehöre zu den Menschen, die nach einer Buchungsbestätigung nicht auf weitere Hinweise warten, sondern im Urlaub dann meine Gräte ausschalten! Tatsache ist, dass...
