Beautiful flowers and trees nestled near a river with pastures of sheep. Ray offered alot of info regarding nearby sites and lifestyle in his part of NZ. The property is small and separate rooms for fridge and kitchen/bathroom which is detailed on his site."

"We stayed four nights in this older farm house. There’s so much room, a nice big kitchen and the view and fresh air were wonderful. The beds had lovely linen but were softer than our liking. The single bathroom was on the opposite side of the house from the bedrooms. Other furnishings are a bit tired and shabby, but we were not really at the house very much because there is so much to explore in the area. We also appreciated Melanie letting us stay one night up the hill at her studio as I didn’t book the five nights I thought I booked; she was really gracious about that situation."
