"Maison Sainte Barbe is a little haven of peace and loveliness, in an ancient building that has been sympathetically cared for. It was our final stop on a 2500 mile roadtrip before heading to Ouisteham, and I'd have been glad to stay longer. "Ich hatte über Ihre Webseite auf meine Anfrage für ein Zimmer und eine Nacht ebendieses gebucht. 4 Stunden vor meiner geplanten Ankunft haben mich die Besitzer angerufen und darauf hingewiesen,ich hätte nur das Schwimmbad für eine Abend gebucht !!!!!!! Wie ist so etwas möglich??? Ich habe dann abrupt und teuer etwas anderes suchen müssen !!!"

"Rooms were not as pictured. Round bed in particular is an Accident waiting to happen with wood claws holding up bed. Towels rough , too much overly decorative stuff for a guest situation. Not clear would be in guest house - non hotel setting. Host very nice, breakfast good. Too far from town"

"We wondered whether we had the right place when we arrived at the gates, but Richard had sent us the entry code by text. After that it was ‘Wow’ - this a great place to spend a few days in Beaune. "Clement gave us a warm welcome and helped us find several delicious vegetarian restaurants. He had on hand recommendations for things to do had we been available to stay longer.
