The location of this older, well-maintained chalet is right in the middle of the footpath area, which is also popular with bikers. The distance to the village with shops, thermal bath, indoor pool and bus station is 1 kilometer. The next mountain can be reached on foot or by gondola, it is the mountain station of Vounetz at 1630 meters. In winter, ski lifts can be used, in summer you can enjoy beautiful walks with views of the Friborg Prealps.

in the vicinity of Charmey is also a reservoir, the "Lac de Montsalvens". By the way, Charmey is on the way to Jaunpass, it is the last village where you still mainly (but not only! ) speaks French. From the chalet you can make excursions to the hiking and skiing areas as well as cycling tours. There are several Reataurants and good shopping on site.
