Recently Renovated Humble House

Sweet, well located, small but spacious cottage is only a 7-minute walk to Downtown Mall. It has two full bedrooms, a studio bedroom/ TV room and a renovated full bath with tub. High ceilings in the living room and kitchen. There is a very large , eat - in kitchen, a light-filled porch room, and the cottage is nestled at the end of a quiet street. Parking is on the street out front or in a small driveway. We are happy to have you as our guest.

Reservation was cancelled upon arrival by host

Upon arrival to Charlottesville, and attempting to contact the host for entry details, I was informed by VRBO help line that the stay was cancelled. I was subsequently notified that the cancellation was identified as due to "minimum age of guest" which was odd as the 3 of us are well into retirement age. Honestly, I do hope that all is well with the owners/hosts and I would have appreciated more transparency or even an apology with "things have changed and we need the space for something else". I'm a very level headed person who has had wonderful VRBO experiences for years. I'm sorry this turned out this way and wish everyone well in future rentals here.
