The location could not be more perfect for a lovely weekend in downtown Charlottesville. The roomThe bed was super comfy and the bathroom was clean. Our only complaint would have been the air quality. The room smelled musty, like mildew and the windows do not open.

Nice little spot
Was in for a show at the Jefferson, the proximity can't be beaten. The check-in process was super easy, and being right on the mall made for a nice evening of walking around and seeing things before the show.

Perfect place to enjoy downtown mall!
We absolutely loved it! The location was amazing with a beautiful window overlooking the downtown mall. We went to many restaurants and two shows just steps away. The room was beautiful and super clean. The decor and amenities were just right. Checkin and checkout was effortless. Quick responses from hosts, even after hours. Any future visits to Charlottesville will definitely include staying at the Jefferson!

From the musty smell upon entering the room to the stained carpet and generally tired/dirty looking furniture, the property just wasn't clean enough to warrant a repeat stay.

The room was clean and decorated beautifully. The location is very convenient. The reason I give 4 stars is it smells moldy. It is faint, but it is there. I read one of the reviews and they said it smelled. I agree. Also, there is a step down from bedroom area to the living , it could be dangerous for some people. I almost tripped one time . Maybe it needs to be marked better. I would consider staying there again, the location is great!

Nice room and amenities. The view of the walking mall, little kitchen and huge shower were great. The rooms begin on floor 2 so there are lots of stairs but we planned for it by using a smaller suitcase. The entry is subtle and right next to the box office. We came out to go to the concert at The Jefferson Theatre and the box office staff asked the patron to move over so that we could come out. (very nice!) Parking is off site and less than a crosstown block in NYC. The downside is there is only one parking pass so if you have plans to explore outside of the downtown area you'll pay for parking. However, parking is super affordable (paid $12 for ~ 24 hours). Suite room 201 has a super comfortable King size bed but one side of the bed is against the wall. Therefore there is only one side table. There are no tissues in the room so we bought some. There are no paper or hand towels in the kitchen area which was weird so we used a bathroom hand towel. We never saw any staff and assumed our room wouldn't be serviced for our short 2 day stay but were surprised to find fresh towels on the bed when we returned. This is a nice hotel option if you like to park the car and walk to dinner/drinks/entertainment at night after a day of exploring the area.

Cool and Convenient Accomodations
We came for a show at the Ting Pavilion, which made this boutique hotel an excellent place to stay. We could park in the garage and then walk to any place we needed to go, and no need to battle the traffic after the concert. The decor was fun, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was sleek with its large walk-in shower. We will definitely consider staying here on our next visit to Cville.

Amazing location!
Easy check in and super simple check out. The location was amazing, right in the middle of the market area. The walk from the parking garage was exactly 3 minutes and was simple to do even with loads of luggage. The description was exact, included tips, and realistic expectations, like the stairs leading to our unit. The unit was well equpped, modern amenities and super clean. we will definitely stay here again.

The Jefferson Hotel was nicely appointed, quiet and comfortable. Conveniently located on Charlottesville’s downtown mall, we were able to sample several great restaurants as well as pick up some nice souvenirs at local shops. It was also centrally located so that we could visit wineries as well as the historic sites. Loved it!

The very best location and so so cool!
We absolutely loved this rental. Obviously the location is where it SHINES but there’s more. It’s so comfortable and well furnished-like your super stylish friend’s studio apartment. It’s very clean, has mostly everything you need, a wonderful bathroom and shower and it even has the sound (Bluetooth speaker) to go with it. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone (single, couple or small family) who wants enjoy the downtown mall all while staying in a uniquely charming place.

Location and ease
Hard to imagine finding a more centrally-located room in downtown Charlottesville that is this nice. Clean, uncluttered and comfortable. The only downsides to the room were: 1) no luggage rack or other place to put your clothes--the suitcase had to sit on the floor, 2) the air conditioning unit points right at the bed and there was no obvious way to redirect the airflow in a different direction. Proximity to the parking deck was also fantastic and made it easy to get in and out.
