The name says it all, welcome to the magnificent, sunset house on Lake Norman- Sunset Pointe. This 5 bedroom & 4 bath house comfortably sleeps 14 on two levels of lake living.
Minutes away from Lake Norman State Park, this house is waiting for your arrival to sit at the fire pit and enjoy the evening sunsets. As you enter the foyer you are greeted with a view of the lake through the living room. This open area features a floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace with plenty of seating and a TV. The windows allow for ample lake views and of course the sunset.
The fully stocked kitchen allows for all the meals to be prepped by your group's chef. The kitchen boasts an island with seating for 5 to keep your chef company & enjoy the lakeside views from the kitchen. A dining area is off the kitchen with seating for 6. There are sliders to the deck from the kitchen.
The main level features 3 bedrooms and two full baths. The primary bedroom, with a king bed, sitting area, access to deck, and ensuite bath is the best room in the house with lake views! The ensuite bath has a soaking tub, dual vanities, and a glass shower - don't forget the two walk-in closets! Off the main hall is a queen bedroom with an ensuite bath which doubles as a hall bath. The last bedroom on the main level, formerly known as the office features a twin bed with a trundle and TV. Keeping with the office tradition there is a leave one take one library, please help yourself and enjoy some reading and relaxation during your lakecation!
The lower level is set up for guests' entertaining! There is a large game room with three TVs, don't miss any of the games while lounging on the large sectional couch or while playing pool. If you need to escape there is a separate couch & TV at the end of the hall with direct access to the backyard. The lower level is rounded out by two bedrooms. A bunk room, with en suite bath, which is perfect for the kiddos' sleepover - featuring 2 twin-over-full beds sleeping 4-6 kiddos! The second bedroom has 2 queen beds, lake views, a TV & en suite bathroom.
Since you are at the lake, the outside is where you will spend most of your time. The back deck off the main level has a few chairs for all guests to enjoy! On your way down to the lake is the perfect patio with a solo stove and 6 Adirondack chairs to enjoy sunsets, adult beverages, or s'mores. You can dine al fresco with the large square table seating 8 which is perfect to prep your meals on the grill with propane provided. As you make your way to the dock, there is a great backyard to enjoy some yard games, like corn hole or large connect four which are on-site for guests to use. Don't forget the 2 kayaks available for guests to use.
The new dock is the perfect spot to park your rented boat and to take a swim, there is a ladder to hop back up and cannonball your friends. Jump off the dock and swim, relax on a raft on the water, or engage in thrilling water sports.
