Our favorite activity is to rent a pontoon boat, pack a picnic, find a quiet beach and chill out for the day! LKN is the perfect place to escape, relax, and unwind. Come and enjoy the beautiful views from our Dockside abode!
The space
We are a lake front condo situated directly on Vineyard Point Marina, right next to the Freedom Boat Club Marina. Life is good, 2 marinas in one location! Renting a boat is easy, or perhaps you'd rather rent a slip for your own personal water craft during your stay with us! The views are stunning from our balcony and we are steps from the marina. Want to fish from the dock? It's easy.
This is a friendly community where everyone takes "Southern Hospitality" seriously, no one is a stranger! When you step onto the boardwalk that runs along the marinas, you are bound to meet new friends.
Perhaps you'd rather play a game of tennis or pickle ball? It's all included. Pickle ball is the rage so bring your racket and join the fun. Each morning there is always a group looking for a little pick-up action, so no need to reserve, just come on out!
Our unit is on the second floor, so the views are truly spectacular! And the sunset? Gorgeous!! Being on the second floor puts us close enough to the festivities, but enough distance so you can enjoy a quiet moment on our spacious balcony. There is no better way to end your day than with a glass of wine...and a gorgeous sunset. Ahhhhhh!
Other things to note
We believe we have all the essentials for a comfortable stay! We don't think it will take much to convince you that a stay at our chic little condo is what your spirit and body is needing ;-) but the following information might be important before you decide:
We provide a starter supply of shampoo and body wash (1 oz. each), enough to get you through a few days, as well as plenty of liquid hand soap, fresh linens and towels, and a starter supply of TP and paper towels to get you through a few days.
Most of us need coffee to survive and you may not be able to make it to the store right away, so the first cup...or two, is on us! If you arrive late, rest assured, we've got you covered! We have plenty of filters so you never need to buy any.
We hope you will keep our place as clean as you would like your own home to be, so we provide all the necessary tools and supplies to help you keep our place spic-n-span: dish washing tablets, dish soap, brush and sponge, hand towel and trash bags. We provide 1 starter roll of paper towels.
We have LOTS of utensils, but If you find there is an essential utensil missing, please let us know and we'll see if we can't add it to our repertoire before you leave.
We love our HOME HERO knives! PLEASE help us to keep them sharp; only use them to cut fresh produce, foods and meat. They are not meant to open cans, scrape paint or loosen screws...just in case you didn't know ;-)
We also love our cookware and bakeware, so please use ONLY plastic utensils when cooking.
We have some small appliances that we feel are necessary for a comfortable stay, but if you think there is one that would round out your stay without breaking the bank ;-) please let us know! We have a toaster, an electric tea kettle, Nutri-bullet, crockpot and a traditional coffee maker.
Lastly, things break. Batteries die. Remotes get lost. A pan burns. Dishes break. Something IS NOT perfect. Life happens. It is not intentional on our part to neglect these items. Unless they are brought to our attention, we will only find out when you find out. So, if you let us know something needs repair or replaced, we will love you forever. We truly want you to have a 5-Star experience!
Sorry, NO pets, NO Smoking. There is a big lake in front of you so take a boat to the middle and enjoy a smoke.
We try to keep the check-out list simple and to do our best to keep our cleaning fee affordable, so we appreciate when you:
- gather trash and take it out
- empty refrigerator of all foods
- pile soiled towels in tub
- Maybe start dishwasher? It's optional ;-) (washing is a long cycle, so it's nice to have the dishes done so our cleaning team can put them away)

By the way, this is our second home and we love nothing more than to spend as much time as possible at our dockside home. It gives us an opportunity to stay on top of issues and keep it in tip top shape. We hope you'll help us when you visit!
