Pros: -Bedroom was clean -The older woman living there was nice & stayed to herself -Possibly the best shower/shower head I have ever experienced in life; truly amazing -Ubers had no problem finding us -Great communication from host Cons: -Confusing listing language so I thought we would have the entire condo, but it's actually shared with an older woman who doesn't speak much English and her cute & feisty dog -The dog wasn't stated in the listing so thankfully we weren't allergic -No basics like towels or toiletries provided, no soap in the bathroom for washing hands, no trash can in the bedroom (not the end of the world, I just expected towels or hand soap at minimum) -House was very personally furnished (ie family's shoes were by the door, a photo of a little girl was on the wall above the bed we slept in, kids toys and things were there, though no kids were present, so it looked and felt very personally lived in by like a family, not just another visiting stranger .... this is a con because it felt like we were imposing in someone's personal space rather than just sharing an impersonal space with a person who was also unfamiliar with the space) Overall - Honestly not a bad spot - especially for the price during NYE, but I wish the listing were more clear and detailed so we knew EXACTLY what to expect to get and not get while there. If I were traveling there alone on a budget, then I might even consider staying again since I now know what to expect.
