1 bedroom secluded cozy cabin in the trees. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a chance to get away on your own and unwind, or an office away from home!

Enjoy a drink on one of the cozy rockers in your private screened in porch. You may get lucky and spot the herd of deer, the flock of geese or the array of local birds and other wild animals.

The cabin is well situated on our property with its own private drive. You will definitely feel secluded and within your own space. Relax on the queen size bed and enjoy a selection of streaming on the smart TV.

10 mins from adorable downtown Waxhaw. Enjoy a nice stroll around the local shops or grab a bite at one of our many local restaurants. Just to name a few:

Blue Door Diner- great for sandwiches or excellent pre-packaged meals, Marcella is one of the owners and very friendly!

Provisions- great local, eclectic diner known for their Reuben sandwich and selection of local tea and coffee. You can also explore the aisles of unique grocery store items.

The Tap house- excellent bar with nice outdoor seating and occasionally live music during the weekends. Also enjoy the delish food truck in the outdoor patio, awesome burgers, fish and chips!

Great Getaway Cabin
The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway with my partner! The hosts did a great job ensuring the property was clean and comfortable and we were even lucky enough to meet one of their dogs! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay close to nature.

Anniversary trip
Relaxing time with beautiful views of the woods. It rained a lot and watching the rain through the picture windows and the screened porch was very pretty. Easy to find, park and close by several things.

Great Find !
Glad we found the Cabin in the Woods. We’re coming home from Florida and did not want to stay in a motel. The cabin was very inviting, very clean, and bed was great. Loved the big picture windows to watch the deer. The owners were quick to answer our question. Great place to rest and relax.

The cabin, while small, more than adequately met our needs. Bed was very comfortable, water is nice and hot, bathroom was spacious and the kitchen well appointed. Location is convenient for traveling around Charlotte. Trails right behind the house and the wildlife abounds. Would easily stay here again!

A lovely spot
The Cabin Amongst the Trees provides a peaceful respite. It is well-designed and light, with many thoughtful touches throughout: cozy blankets, a unique footrest for the couch, LED reading lamps for the bedroom. Very comfortable.

I hope all my future experiences with Vrbo are this good.
A clean, quiet and well maintained property. We arrived after dark and the approach and entrance was well lit and felt safe. I can't think of anything that could have made the stay any more enjoyable. Watching the dear come up next to the house that first morning while enjoying a great coffee was amazing. I whole heartily recommend.

Five star all the way! We can’t express enough what an awesome place this is. The cabin is awesome! The amenities were great! The warm welcome inside with special touches just for our occasion were so sweet & thoughtful. The host are the best we have yet to experience. If you don’t stay here, you’ll be missing out on an awesome experience. While enjoying our (provided) morning coffee, we got to watch a couple deer eat & play. So many great things to say. The property wasn't just clean, it was immaculate. No dead bugs on the screened in porch (I've seen that at other places). There's a fan that made warm Charlotte nights feel very pleasant and lights if needed. The inside is wonderfully intimate, but for the small size, you feel like you're in a castle. Huge windows look out over nature and there's lots to observe. The bed is super comfy, the shower is nice and roomy, and the pictures don't show it (yet) but there is a stove to cook on and plenty of room to manoeuvre. I never felt cramped, and can't imagine feeling cramped with two. Which there were! The best part of listing is Midge! The property comes with a no charge pet companion service. Midge is sweet and loving, and for the low price of a good bellyrub will be your companion all day until called for dinner. If you're looking for a quiet setting that's no more than 15 minutes anything you'd want to get to, this is a great place to stay. Richard and Pamela were wonderful hosts, and very responsive. They make it easy to check in and check out. I don't have a single negative thing to say. 5 stars all the way!!!
