Summary:
Located directly on the banks of the Catawba River, (Lake Wylie) this newly remodeled 2-Bedroom, 1-Bath Garden Suite is less than 10 minutes from Historic Downtown Belmont, National Whitewater Center and Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens. It's also convenient to everything in Charlotte the Airport (10 Min.) Uptown Museums/Restaurants/Bars (20 Min.), Concord Mills Mall/Premium Outlet Mall, Charlotte Motor Speedway (30 Min.) and Crowders Mountain State Park via major Interstates (I-85, I-485, I-77).

The Space:
GARDEN SUITE FEATURES:
Very Private – Located at the end of a Cul de Sac with water on three sides.
No Hassle keypad Access Check In
Sleeps up to 4 Guests. (1 King, 1 Queen)
Entire Suite is On One Level – No Stairs. It is located below the main house and there is not access to the main house and the main house
Has no access.
Amazing Views of Catawba River from multiple vantage points including from both inside and outside the Garden Suite.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Sorry, No Pets.
NOTE: Full-Time tenant (not the property owner) lives in unit above Garden Suite, so you may hear slight foot traffic and/or muffled voices above occasionally.
Guest have access to all areas on the grounds including Waterfront Pier and Dock, Waterfront Fire Pit and Select Kayaks/Paddles (user assumes all risk and agrees to provide own PDF - Personal Flotation Device/Life Preserver).

Guest Access:
A push button key pad is located on the front door of the Suite . To light up the key pad touch the bottom left corner and when it lights up
put your code in. Please wait until the lock has opened to open the door. You will receive the lock code 48 hours prior to check in. If you dont have a code
by then please send me a message.

The Neighborhood:
Located at the end of a very private Cul de sac and directly on the waterfront of Lake Wylie. Less than 10 minutes from Historic Downtown Belmont, National Whitewater Center and Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens and also convenient to everything Charlotte including the Airport, Uptown Museums/Restaurants/Bars, Concord Mills Mall/Premiere Outlet Mall, Charlotte Motor Speedway and Crowders Mountain State Park.

Getting Around:
Extremely convenient to three major Interstates (I-85, I-485, I-77). Kayak/Canoe from out front yard to the National Whitewater Center just a few miles up the Catawba River. Great nature/walking/hiking experience at Iswa Nature Preserve less than one-mile away.

The garden suite is a lovely place to stay. It is clean and comfortable. The location is great being right on the river. It is very nice to be able to sit and relax while watching the river.

Quiet cozy place
The view was great! The owner was super friendly! And the place was amazing!!! The fireplace was picture perfect and even though the tide was really low the walk on the dock was beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here.

This was the perfect place to get away for a long weekend. The space was cozy & clean. It was a little too cold for us to use the outdoor space, but the view of the water was lovely. Would definitely recommend!

Property was great. We did not get to use all the amenities, there are a lot! But great place to relax, refresh and renew. Beautiful setting great out door space. Would stay there again! May go back just to take advantage of the outdoor space.

Lovely spot by the river
Nice relaxing spot by the river. After a day of visiting family in the area, it was a great place to kickback and watch wildlife, geese, ducks, squirrels and a beaver. The neighborhood is quiet. When I'm in the area again, I would definitely book this spot again.

Perfect location between airport and family. Absolutely darling accommodations with all amenities. Comfortable beds and couch. Scenery of river is amazing both morning and night. It’s like you’re miles away from the city when in reality you are only minutes away. The host was readily available for assistance. This is hands-down the best VRBO ever!!!

What a great house, the pictures don't do it justice. The inside is well appointed, love how the bedrooms are separated! The property feels secluded and private but it's close to anything you want in Charlotte. The views are awesome, we appreciated the amenities! Will definitely book again!

We are from the coast. We wanted a place that was nice and private away from the city but super close. This place was perfect. We plan on going back this spring or summer so we can actually enjoy the space. The view so great, the place was cozy yet spacious enough. We loved it!!!!

Very nice, updated basement that was plenty of room for the two of us but would do nicely for four as well. ONLY thing I'd mention is you should remember it's a basement and you do hear the upstairs occupants.

Weekend Getaway
This waterfront garden suite was very spacious, immaculately clean, well appointed, and located on a beautiful, extremely quiet piece of property. We enjoyed the sunsets from the rocking chairs on the covered patio area. The property location is perfect for dining in Belmont and visiting the Whitewater Center. Mike was immediately available and helpful with answering questions. This property is a gem.

Lovely
Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood at the rivers edge. Plenty of nice places to hang out on the property and see herons and egrets on the water. The host Mike was very gracious and helpful when we had a minor issue with the door code. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area; we chose it mainly because it's close to the National Whitewater Center and some family members who we were visiting. 100% would stay again.

Riverfront Sanctuary
We met family traveling through Charlotte on an overnight layover and just stayed for the weekend. Mike was extremely helpful and even answered our late night phone call to get help with finding the entry way. The pictures on this house don’t do it justice it’s decorated adorable and located on a beautiful spot on the river with a nice big area for a bonfire! We had everything we needed, comfortable beds, and even a kuerig with coffee :) it’s conveniently located between Charlotte and Belmont. Our family member forgot their phone and Mike took the time to ship it to us and we are so grateful. 10 out 10 recommend!

I rented this property specifically for its outdoor features it presents which did not disappoint ❤️!!! Coming from up north Michigan I spent every moment I could soaking up warm sun, green grass in my toes and time by the river. The lighted bonfire & small 2 person deck in the yard at night plus the dock lights, made me feel safe out at night while looking at stars. The king size bed was incredibly comfy!!! My son and daughter-in-law said the same about their queen bed. The linens were crisp and clean. I will say, owning a cleaning service, the toilet, microwave, along with the grill was not at all properly cleaned, and I did have what I think was the washer drain out onto the floor. This created a water spill from behind the fridge, into the living room and a bit into the hallway. I'm sure Mike had this taken care of immediately though. He was very attentive! Overall, a lovely stay!
