"This dated property was charming and clean. I think that they are making improvements and we enjoyed our stay. The continental breakfast could have more protein offered. Mostly breads, Cereal and yogurts. One day they had hard boiled eggs. We would stay again. We love this area!"

Went to watch Iceman Cometh mountain bike race, 30 miles of trails from Kalkaska to Traverse City. Over 5000 riders/racers competing for prize money and trophies.Very exciting!

Many great local restaurants!The Charlevoix Pizza Company has amazing thin crisry crust chicken bacon ranch pizza. Pig's Eating Ribs has great shakes and bbq with sides. Smoke on the Water has great breakfast. Sour cream and lemon curd pancakes.

We went to Charlevoix for the Applefest. Even though the weather was less than ideal, everyone we met was open and friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan to visit this event again in the future.
