Nestled on the edge of North Point Nature Preserve and Mt. McSauba, you will LOVE the location of Nature's Nook. This year round getaway is fully equipped to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay. Right across the street is a trail to Lake Michigan sand dunes and one of Charlevoix's most beloved beaches (parking for the beach is across the street from the house - it's approximately a 2 block walk over dunes from our front door to the water). Feel free to make use of the beach chairs and toys you'll find in the garage! Explore the nature trails right out the front door, play on the dunes, and take a dip in Lake Michigan!

Less than 2 miles from town, you can bike, walk or drive in to enjoy shops, restaurants, and watch the drawbridge rise. Enjoy all the festivals and summer celebrations in Charlevoix, or take an easy drive to Boyne or Petoskey! Easy access to all the area golf courses, and only a short drive to Castle Farms or Pond Hill Farms.

Leaf peepers will love the splendor of the fall colors just outside your door at the nature preserve, or can take a short drive through the Tunnel of Trees. Snow bunnies can enjoy all that Mt. McSauba has to offer - one of the top 3 small ski areas in the U.S. as determined by Ski Magazine! Skiing, snow shoeing, sledding hills, cross country ski trails, and an ice rink - all right across the street! Only 30 minutes to the slopes at Boyne Mountain (Boyne City) or Boyne Highlands (Harbor Springs).

The main floor features an open floor plan with living room, dining room, breakfast nook, and a beautiful, fully updated kitchen. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need if you want to make your own meals, traditional coffee maker and a keurig. The master bedroom is on the main floor along with one full bathroom and laundry. Upstairs is a full bathroom as well as 2 additional bedrooms. A separate ensuite is conveniently located on the main floor through a private entrance off the garage, including a bedroom with a king size bed and a beautiful, modern full bathroom with a walk in shower. Televisions provide streaming capabilities so you can login to your own accounts on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. A secluded wrap around deck provides the perfect spot to relax, soak in the hot tub, or use the Weber grill. After watching the sunset on Lake Michigan, it's only a short stroll back to the house to enjoy a bonfire or a dip in the hot tub. The house is air conditioned to provide comfort on the hottest days. Hot tub is professionally cleaned and serviced by a spa service technician every week. Cozy fireplace, as well as a selection of games, books, puzzles and dvds for those who want to stay in!

Wonderful Getaway
Staying here was a very positive experience for my family and me. The home was equipped with much more than the bare essentials. The home had a full kitchen with everything you needed to make meals, beach equipment and toys, and plenty of games/books/movies for the kids. The location of the home is within an hour(ish) of top attractions like Traverse City, Mackinac Island, Petoskey, and more. The host was quick to respond and made check-in very simple. Would highly recommend.

A great location with an easy walk to either rock beach or sand beach. Well equipped for dine in and entertainment. Did not use outdoor patio but looked very inviting, as well as hot tub. It was perfectly suited for our 6 adult gathering.

Best Kitchen ever.
The property provided plenty of space for all ages. We had Seniors to active small boys. The boys enjoyed the yard and quiet roads. We brought scooters for them and plenty of area to ride safely. They even had a bench out front for Nana to watch them. The suite off the garage provided an escape from all the activity. The kitchen…. We always cook most meals. I have done VRBO many times and this was the best ever. !!! Plenty of utensils, room and pots and pans. Bedrooms, bathrooms, outdoor space all we’re comfortable and well maintained . Great location
The location was convenient and close to the things we wanted to do/see in the area. The kitchen was nice/clean and had everything we needed. The beds were clean and comfortable. The outside seats/deck area could use a little cleaning up so they could be utilized. However, there are a lot of trees covering the house so I understand it's difficult at times. Also, the neighbors next door had a party one day with a band. Luckily we were out all that day so we didn't have to listen to the noise. Overall, I would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in Charlevoix! The house is in a beautiful setting - the falling leaves and colors were wonderful. Short walk to beach/lake. Spacious house, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. The hot tub was great for relaxing after exploring! Great communication with the host, Jayme was great! Life at it’s best
Such a great property. Close to Lake Michigan. Tucked in a wooded area. Quite neighborhood. Fall colors were beautiful all around us. Didn’t use the hot tub since the weather was rainy but we loved the option and how secluded the deck was. Beds were very comfortable. The bedroom off of the garage was perfect for one’s wanting a more zen quiet feel. The colors and the 2 buck deer picture in that bedroom room were very soothing, actually all the artwork was very soothing. Loved the moose picture above the fireplace. Thanks for a great spot to spend time with girlfriends, 60 somethings, that haven’t seen one another for 2 years due to Covid restrictions. Thanks!

Our family stayed at Nature's Nook for our son's wedding at Castle Farms. We absolutely loved it! Every possible amenity you can imagine was here for us! The hot tub was PERFECTION! Sooo many deer 😳! Incredibly quiet. Comfy beds. Large living space and kitchen area. There's even a gas fire pit on deck! Highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Charlevoix. Well worth it!

Beautiful home just outside Charlevoix. The property manager was very responsive when, for some reason, we had a bit of an issue checking in. A couple of things to note: Towels need a good bleaching, outside deck and doors need to be cleaned as they were full of debris and cobwebs, ground lights should be installed on desk, (especially around the step) for safety reasons.

This is a great property with excellent amenities. The house is beautifully maintained and so comfortable for a group. The beach is an easy 7 minute walk over the dune. The host provides lots of beach gear for use. The point is amazing for those Lake Michigan sunsets. Close to Charlevoix!

Great Up North Vacation Home!
We stayed here for a family wedding and had a simply wonderful time. The house is spacious, very well stocked and quite comfortable! We loved the small touches such as the plentiful beach towels, toys and chairs and the light switches being all labeled. The beds and furniture were all comfortable and the landscape and yard were great. We were 5 mins from Charlevoix and 30 from Petoskey. Better yet, this house is across the street from one of the best beaches around! Walk through the nature preserve and you’ll find a beautiful sandy and not at all crowded Lake Michigan beach!
