Upon ascending a small set of stairs to the right side of the home, you'll be greeted by the entrance door adorned with a distinguished Carolopolis Award plaque, a testament to the preservation efforts that make Charleston's historic structures truly exceptional.

Stepping inside, a private stairwell leads you to the second-floor unit, where a welcoming living area awaits bathed in natural light. The living space seamlessly extends to a balcony, complete with a Smart TV tuned into Peacock Premium TV, providing access to your favorite shows, movies, live news, and sports. A dining table for four adds functionality to the area.

Adjacent to the living space, concealed behind an accent wall adorned with chic blue palm wallpaper, you'll discover the first of two bedrooms. Ideal for relaxation, work, or gearing up for a day of city exploration, this bedroom features a desk, king-size bed, full-length mirror, TV, ceiling fan, and an open closet. The nearby bathroom offers a spacious walk-in shower with a refreshing rain shower head.

From the Airbnb map provided, you can see we are close to the Septima P. Clark Parkway so guest may experience some traffic noise. The place was beautiful , comfortable and in a great neighborhood . Just know before you go that there are a lot of steps to get to the second floor and there is a busy road nearby that you hear the constant noise of the traffic when sitting on the porches . But none of that took away from the character and convenience of the property for my husband, myself and our 10 year old .

Conditions were wonderful. Everything was in order and was in great condition. Well decorated. It was on a corner lot where there is a lot of traffic. If you need quiet, or are not used to noise, this would be hard for you to get used to. We did not have that problem. Sometimes, TV is hard to hear. All amenities were great and check in and check out was very easy. Would recommend and would stay there again.

Week around Charleston.
Chose the property for accessibility to downtown, Sullivan’s Island and Mt. Pleasant. We had a wonderful stay. Walked to an array of delicious restaurants, bars, shops and the beautiful Hampton Park. Sullivan’s Island was 15 minutes away. Home was clean, chic and comfortable. We loved the natural light and porches. Wonderful place to spend a week.

WE were not on vacation but needed a spot close to MUSC. It was a quick 12 minute walk through a beautiful old neighborhood. We loved the 3 porches and used them all. Beds were great. Also convenient to grocery, liquor, coffee shops, dining, etc. Only request would be for a Keurig coffee machine for more convenience.

The house is beautifully renovated and centrally located. We were able to walk to several restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores. The house has all of the amenities that you need, including washer/dryer, coffee, speaker, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and toiletries. Do bring dryer sheets if you plan to do any laundry. Parking was not a problem, as you have a designated space. Host was very responsive to any questions. The house is located just adjacent to a main road, so the traffic noise was quite loud during the day, but at night, we had no issues. Beds are very comfortable, and a/c works very well. We loved all of the exterior porches. With all that said, we would definitely book another stay here.
