Avondale is a lively yet relaxed, family-friendly and walkable neighborhood known for its colorful murals, nightlife and food scene of its own. At the same time, Avondale is just over the bridge from all that downtown Charleston has to offer. The neighborhood is walkable and bikable to coffee shops, dessert bars (yes!), restaurants and more. 10 minutes or less to downtown, 15 minutes to the airport, 20 to Folly Beach and 25 minutes to Sullivan's Island Beach.
