Private, single family home with large screened-in porch and fenced-in backyard less than 10 minutes to downtown and 15 to beach. Walkable to coffee shops, bars and dining. Outdoor grill and deck, tropical plants, a work station, off street parking and more. Spacious bedrooms.

The new master suite features a rainfall shower, king bed and double doors opening to the private backyard.

Jungly woods give this bungalow home tons of privacy and a relaxed, tropical feeling - all while being in the middle of it all. Close to everything Charleston has to offer - Avondale food and nightlife scene, the Angel Oak, King Street and downtown, Folly Beach, James Island, West Ashley shopping- yet it feels like a spa retreat. This is a ranch style home with an additional 750 square-foot bedroom with en-suite bathroom constructed in 2016. Guests have access to the entire property. There is parking for several cars in the driveway and street parking is available. There are washer/dryers for your use during your stay. Avondale is a lively yet relaxed, family-friendly and walkable neighborhood known for its colorful murals, nightlife and food scene of its own. At the same time, Avondale is just over the bridge from all that downtown Charleston has to offer. The neighborhood is walkable and bikable to coffee shops, dessert bars (yes!), restaurants and more. 10 minutes or less to downtown, 15 minutes to the airport, 20 to Folly Beach and 25 minutes to Sullivan's Island Beach.

Great Place to Stay
My 8 friends and I loved our stay at Paul’s place! The beds were incredibly comfortable and there was enough space for 9 people without feeling cramped. Clean house, great location and walkable to a great coffee shop. Would absolutely recommend Paul’s place to anyone going to Charleston for a girls weekend. One little note is the water pressure in one of the showers wasn’t the best but the other bathroom with the rainfall shower head makes up for it! Thanks Paul for the great stay.

4 couples reunite. We just wanted to be able to comfortably hang out together and this house filled our needs!! Screened in sitting/eating, fire pit out back, comfy living room, great beds and bathrooms!! Close to downtown too nice neighborhood

Fabulous location and great space
We really loved our stay! The space is great and we’re actually considering coming back for longer later in 2023. My only complaint is the mattress covers. I get the need to protect the mattresses but there are better options that don’t feel/sound like you’re sleeping on a tarp. Great space, location, and host!!

Central but Quiet Neighbourhood
The Property was very central for exploring Charleston but also in a quiet neighbourhood. Lots of room to sit both inside and outside with family during our get together. We loved the old record player. Our millennials had never seen one! It was a great point of discussion and interest on our first evening there. Master bedroom is fabulous but others are quite small with the 4th being virtually within the master suite. Would be suitable for children but not adults. Manager was very responsive.
