It was a perfect staycation for our anniversary. We will definitely book again!
This is a great property. Would definitely stay here again. A little bit of noise if you’re on the second floor due to the bar downstairs, but nothing earplugs don’t resolve. Walking distance to all over downtown Charleston.
Our room was lovely. It was large, had charm, but also nicely updated. Location was fantastic and the front lobby staff had that wonderful southern hospitality. Would definitely recommend!
Absolutely hands down exceeded expectations! The room was spacious, and beautifully appointed. The location could not be beat - we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go (minus a drive to the beach, which was short). We will stay here every time we come to Charleston!!!
Location fantastic. We had queen room. Could sleep 4 so I thought 2 queen beds. Instead 2 rooms, 2nd one with sofa bed. Next time I’ll,ask for king or clarify about beds. Problem with online booking.
We could walk to fine restaurants and many sites. Free shuttle to farther spots.
As stated above and very much loved our suite..... decor, age of the buildings, grounds and staff. If were back in Charleston, we'll stay with you again
A nice option for a comfortable stay in historic Charleston. Rooms were well equipped, large and comfortable. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.
This was an opportunity to visit a place that neither of us had been. Loved the history. The Lodge Alley Inn was a great location and a beautiful place to stay.
This place is a perfect spot to see Charleston. There are great restaurants and shops within easy walking. We parked our car in a nearby garage and didn’t need it while we were there. The room is spacious and felt very comfortable. We are planning on going back there soon!
The property is listed in a perfect location within the French Quarter - was able to walk to all destinations but is also within 2 blocks of a parking garage. Room was clean, staff was friendly and no issues with the reservation. Will stay with them again if back in Charleston.
We had a wonderful stay here. We were in the main building which is adjacent to a club or something where there was loud music pretty late into the night. We’re not light sleepers, so it didn’t affect us too much, but if you were staying with kids, it might be too much. The options for parking were also pretty limited and therefore expensive. From afternoon to afternoon (overnight) we ended up paying something like $30/day. The staff did not give any options for parking besides the valet options. Overall, very clean, very pretty. We enjoyed our stay.
