Amazing place!
We loved our stay in Charleston! Guesthouse Charleston: EAST (46 H) was exactly what we needed for our party of 7. The location is perfect for everything to do. The noise level between 11 PM-2 AM is off the charts so prepare for that. (We took the advice of other reviewers and took earplugs.) Even with that, we would choose this property again because everything else was just so perfect the noise became minor. Check-in to check out, to questions about parking were responded to within minutes. Can't say enough good things about it!

Fun with Friends Weekend
This place is absolutely perfect for a weekend get away. The location could not have been any better. Fine dining close by, easy shopping within a block. This place has 3 comfortable king beds which the main reason for staying here. Each couple being 60+ had the comforts of home. I will come back.

This is a great property in a great location for visiting the sights of Charleston. Easy walks to restaurants and markets. Parking is a little tight, but it is really nice to have a designated space off of the street.

Family Christmas
Our family of six gathered from 3 different cities to celebrate Christmas. This house was perfect with 3 king beds and separate bathrooms. It was comfortable and clean. We could walk to so many shops, bars and restaurants. We walked all the way down King Street to the market and to the water! The management team was easy to work with and responsive to our one request!! Don’t miss Babas, Pass sandwich shop, Holey Bagels and Southbound, all within walking distance! Great place for a getaway 😃

Bachelorette Celebration Weekend.
We had such a great experience at guest house. The location was perfect and within walking distance of everything we wanted to explore. The rooms were a perfect set up to share space and plenty of room for all 8 of us who stayed together.

The apartment was clean and cool (it was HOT outside). The staff was very responsive and helpful. There are a lot of stairs, which wasn’t an issue for us, just FYI. The living room is big so it was nice to have to hang or watch TV. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location is a bit far from restaurants, shops but more retail seems to be coming to upper King St.

Charming stay right off upper King St
Perfect weekend getaway for a girl’s trip! Location is walking distance to upper King Street and the apartment is adorable. Perfectly captures that historic charm Charleston is known for. Beds and bedding were clean and very comfortable. Loved the sound machines in each room, although noise wasn’t a major issue in my opinion. One of the two sinks in the second floor bathroom was not functional due to a crack/leak but this wasn’t that big of a deal for us since it had a double vanity. Would 10/10 recommend.

This Vrbo was perfect for us. It’s location was great. We walked to a lot of restaurants close by & some fun shopping. The place was very clean & the beds were so comfortable. They had everything we needed on site. We had a couple questions & got a response fairly quickly. Definitely would recommend & we would stay again. The only thing I would point out that’s not positive or negative just fact…is there are a lot of stairs which wasn’t a bad thing for us but I know it can be for some people. Again place was super comfy & clean! Thank you!

Beautiful property with great location
Check in was a breeze and Kerri was wonderful and able to give us great recommendations on places to visit in the area. She was also super easy to reach by text. The property was beautiful and a great location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It was a little noisy at night due to the bar across the street but the property did have sound machines available. Overall great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Thanks for the stay! The first time we arrived using Google maps we were a bit turned around looking for the correct unit and had reached out about check-in instructions. However the whole weekend was good communication, allowing us to drop our bags early, check out late, and we were in excellent proximity to King Street and all the fun that Charleston has to offer!!

Beautiful Property, but be aware of location.
Be advised the location is across the street from a bar and if you are there Friday and Saturday, the music plays loud until the very early hours of the morning. Those who sleep in the main rooms facing the street, including the sleeper sofa will have the thump of music in their ears so bring ear plugs! Similar there was a bar fight so we got to witness that on the street along with the arrival of the police. Son Sunday night there was a party and people on the street staying at the house next to the bar (which is closed on Sundays), who were loud and throwing beer cans until our Uber picked us up at 4am for our early morning flight out, so just be aware. I hate to write this but I wished someone had shared before as I had my 80 year mother and 76 great aunt with us and failed to get much sleep. The positive, if you want are okay with the noise is the property host/hostess was the best we’ve experienced and we have used VRBO in many countries/cities.

Great location, but a couple inconveniences
We really enjoyed our stay, but I was texting with the owner multiple times about some issues happening throughout our short stay. Detector was beeping, air went out on the second floor, I went to get the fans out of his office, with his permission. We had a tech come to the house, and said there were deeper issues to the air going out.
