"The owner was very helpful and gave clear instructions about checking in. The owner kindly left us a bottle of wine and there were instructions about the the house which was also helpful. The house is lovely, three large bedrooms with a beautiful garden. Although it was April we had some great sunshine and were able to eat outside. The house is very comfortable and there is a bathroom downstairs as well as upstairs which was very useful with our young boys. We had a great holiday and will...

"The property is very nice and well equipped but could do with new pillows on the beds. We enjoyed our two weeks stay in the house. There were a couple of problems we encountered. The key safe was extremely difficult to open perhaps needs to be looked at and the other was the neighbours dogs pooing frequently in front of the garage. Having said that none of these issues spoilt our stay and would recommend."

"Property exactly as described. Spacious house, lovely pool and gorgeous gardens/patio area with barbecue. Albert was attentive and available, with the pool being cleaned regularly and even supplying fans at short notice when the temperature spiked. Would definitely consider coming back to the same house if we visited the area again."

"Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"
