I arrived around 4.30pm to find no one around and had yet to receive my email with lock key code, I know arrival was stated 5pm but I would expect to receive the code day before. Message arrived shortly after and I was then able to know which lodge and code. Spacious and immaculately clean, equipped for short self catering stay as necessary. We also had dinner at the Chateau and Lars attention to detail and flavours were simply perfect! We would thoroughly recommend the Chateau & definitely stay for your evening meal x "

"It was a lovely clean well maintained place. The host was nice. A few minor items, the WiFi stopped working after one day and there’s no phone signal the area. There was no hand soap provided in the bathroom, and it’s in the middle of a farming working area. Otherwise I recommend it, and believe it to be better than most accommodations around. "

"Absolutely couldn't wish for a better place to relax and recharge our 'parent' batteries. Beautiful place with a great and friendly service. Completely tranquil and romantic. Really enjoyed our stroll throught the vineyards and around the estate with while playing a fun game of quiz. Thoroughly recommend this place, in parcular to couples. "

"Les toilettes et la salle de bain de l'autre côté du couloir. Escalier étroit et raide. Interdiction de monter avec ses chaussures. Petit déjeuner médiocre, pain beurré brioche industriel. Les mêmes prestations qu'un formul'1 mais en+Cher, et au formul'1 le p'tit dej est+copieux "

"While prepaid, we were never informed this property is permanently closed. We had a very hard time finding it, hours, and when we achieved getting there, the gates were padlocked. We honked and a caretaker came to the gate seeming surprised we were there. “Ferme! Ferme! Finis!” he cried. Showing him the reservation with picture of the chateau, he acknowledged we were at the right place. He made a phone all but still said “Ferme!” We had to find other lodgings and pay again."
