"Nous n'étions pas sûrs d'être réellement dans un château mais c'est vraiment le cas. L'appartement est propre et spacieux, bien équipé et calme. Et la personne de l'accueil est très agréable. Seul bemol : les oreillers trop hauts et trop durs."

"We had a wonderful time. Stephane met our early arrivals to let them in and the whole party of 24 - great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins all enjoyed the lovely pool and grounds- with plenty of space for cricket, badminton and board games. Stephane was very helpful when the dishwasher didn’t work- coming up to replace it immediately. We had wonderful weather and really enjoyed Kayaking in Lusignan. We would love to return"

"We have been 'Chateau' travelers for 42 years. I cannot count the number of establishments visited. Ch Goujonnerie is 'THE' most charming Chateau we have had the priviledge to stay. It was exceptionally difficult to say goodbye after 5 nights. Isabella, Natalie AND Stephen and Michel were the most charming hosts. We will never forget their care to guests. We look forward to returning again and is a great place for a base camp if you want to visit La Rochell or Il de Re or so many other places...

"The property internally was very good but needs some finishing off. Property full of flies. VRBO advertised property inclusive of use of pool and hot tub. Owner requested 100 euro’s for 7 days use of hot tub. Externally on arrival the grass was not cut, pool had not been cleaned and Wi-Fi was inoperable. Pool was cleaned on arrival, Wi-Fi was repaired following day. Grass was not cut. The owners dog used the long grass at the end of the pool to do it’s business. We will not return to this...

"A one night stop to break up a very long road trip. Arrived after checking in times but was sorted easily with a quick call ahead. Only complaint is that it would have been nice to have a new sponge in the kitchen rather than an old one. "
