"We had such a lovely stay at L'Echappee Belle. The rooms are comfy, spacious and clean and the house and grounds are beautiful, with lots of fruit and veg growing throughout the grounds which our hostess Sophie uses for her excellent guest dinners and breakfasts. The swimming pool is wonderful and the house is located in a quiet area close to some lovely villages which are a 10-minute bike ride away. Would gladly come back here, thank you Sophie! "Booked the day itself a room for the night and received a confirmation and payment was done. When I arrived the hotel was closed and out of operation. Some strange excuse that email was not working but apparently nothing was working because they couldnt give me a room because no rooms were heated and the water was shut off. The day afterwards the customer servicenof hotels tried to reach the hotel but nobody picked up the phone. "
