"Although a little difficult to find, this is a beautiful and peaceful house. The pool is large and worked really well for us, we were 4 adults and 4 children aged between 4-9. Plenty of garden space for the kids to run around and a lovely BBQ area. "This property is a peaceful shangrila. Our hosts Barbara and Kevin couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The property is an enclosed peace of paradise. After cognac tasting, going to the local farmers market, kayak races and wandering the lovely village of Jarnac we always looked forward to returning to our gite. Staircase to the bedroom balcony makes a bathroom trip in the depths of night a precarious adventure but the overall ambience and amenities are delicious . Superbly comfy sofas and French scrabble makes the evenings simple fly by ."
