"Apart from the bed collapsing on quite a few occasions, some of the parts of the house been mended by bodgit and scarper and the pool having seen better days. I quite enjoyed our holiday. It’s a lovely peaceful setting in which to enjoy the surrounding area. "We had such a relaxing time with our daughter on the farm. Esther and Fritz were so lovely and accommodating! It was boiling hot when we were there and Esther still took our daughter on a promised sunset horse ride. The house accommodations were exactly as you would expect on a farm, but all straight forward to use. It is very close to bigger towns like Confolens and Lesterps so it’s easy to pop out for dinner or cook in. Our daughter fell in love with all the animals and we really hope to book...

Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. It is a great place to explore the nearby towns such as Cognac, Limoges, Angouleme and many interesting small villages. Christine was extremely kind and helpful and we have no hesitation in recommending it if you are considering a holiday in this area. "

"The gite was wonderful, everthing possible was there for the guests use….torch, matches, cleaning products, extra toilet rolls etc. We were welcomed with the most amazing pack of food products including beer & wine. The bed is super comfortable with additional blankets if needed, the large shower is great as well. The area/local towns were a little too quiet for us but we made the most of it….and it is out of season. "
