"Just stayed for one night as travelling from UK to the Alps and used this as a stop. Hotel is in a great position to just walk to local amenities. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Although parking is not in the hotel itself, there is a good public car park literally 20 yards from the entrance to the hotel. Parking overnight is free from 1900-0800 and a couple of hours either side was only about 3 euros so inexpensive. "

"The welcome and check in was excellent. The room was great and is the best Hotel bed I have ever slept in 5***** superb. We booked for dinner and on arrival shown to out table. We were presented with a QR code to use!? Being technophobes I asked to order and pay for food in the normal way - I was simply handed a itablet - no instruction and no-one attended us again so after 30 mins we left and used a restaurant along the street. Not very happy about this, there appeared to be only 2 people...

"We were only at Hotel Saint Jean one night but it was lovely. Although there were some improvements underway it was clean and nothing was in our way. The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The hotel was well located. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We were able to get a 3 person room which is hard to find. Breakfast included some meats and cheeses, more than the common croissant and coffee. "

"The room smelt as soon as we entered, couldn’t distinguish if it was body odour or smoke. It was suffocating. Soon realised it was smoke, all the linen stank of it, especially the blankets and towels. It was impregnated into everything. This along with the lumpy pillows and mattress that caved in made for very little sleep. "Clement gave us a warm welcome and helped us find several delicious vegetarian restaurants. He had on hand recommendations for things to do had we been available to stay longer. Walking the old part of town is very easy and comfortable, even at night. The apartment was clean and so spacious with a sleeping area, living area, kitchen, and separate toilet and shower room. "The hotel is a gorgeously renovated abbey on the edge of the old town center of Beaune. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Betty we felt welcome and relaxed. The room was spacious and elegant. The subterranean pool was a favorite feature to me, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast, which was served in a beautiful room by kind and attentive people, was delicious, with buffet items and eggs served to order. We enjoyed a wonderful stay. The facility is awe inspiring and the people who run the hotel were extremely welcoming. This is a very special hotel."

Convenient stop over hotel in the centre of Beaune

"This is the 3rd time we have used this hotel. It’s very convenient in the centre of Beaune with secure parking. Our room was good, breakfast was good and a bonus was the large fluffy towels which is unusual in France! Would certainly recommend."
